85 Supra Front Dash Removal & Speaker Access

Hey all,

I've got an '85 Supra with wonky front speakers and I'm ready to replace them. However, I can't seem to get to them. I have the Crutchfield guide, but it doesn't line up 1:1 with my car. Several things are different:

(this is for the driver's side, I haven't even tried the passenger yet)

1. First step is to pry off the speaker grill to access the first screw. I can't find a screw in there anywhere.
2. It says to remove five screws underneath, I can only find three.
3. The three screws in the previous point remove an extra knee panel below the one I believe I need to remove.
4. Even with every screw I can find removed, I can't seem to get the panel to budge and I'm hesitant to force it (though I did have to coerce the climate control panel off since it's been on there for 30+ years)

Does anyone have a guide, video, or tips for getting to the front speakers of an 85? Aside from the Crutchfield guide that came with my wiring harness (which again, is lacking detail and isn't quite accurate) I'm kind of stuck.

Thanks!
