Default rsx type S vs Non turbo MKIV

Was driving my friends rsx type S arround for a few days while he was out of town, and some riced out MKIV pulled up next to me at a light reving his motor like there was no tomarrow. I thought might as well see how the rsx puts up. But I was surpised too pull a car on him all the only mods the rsx has is catback headers and intake. after I beat he made me pull over too see what I had under the hood I laughed and drove away. Just shows that some of newer 4 bangers actaully have some bite

RSXs dont have bite. lol. it just beat a car that has a pretty good amount more weight and probably putting down around the same power figure.

Its funny how people think NA Supras/SCs are fast. 3600lbs + 225hp = slow. I mean, its a low 15 second car, almost any production car produced today that costs over $20k will outrun that.

That should be expected from AT LEAST 7 years in advanced technology.

If it was riced out he has money. If he wanted to go fast he would have put the money towards a turbo or some mods for his car. Obviously he doesn't care how fast his car is and as Joe stated his car is probably MUCH over 3600 lbs and under 225hp

i dont think many people think NAs are fast. i have experience with a few, and they have pretty good torque though for what it is. the MKIV NAs dont feel as doggedly slow as the MKIII NA.

Oh sorry, a 94 GSR will also hang with it.....along with most other cars from that era. I expect a 40+ thousand dollar car to last a bit longer as far as the "technology" goes as well. Problem is, the supras dont have a slew of technology (atleast compared to the GSR or Type S), they rely back on the displacement and turbo models set forth 40+ years before. Sorry, but since I bought my SC300 Im tired of everyone (mostly other owners) acting like its a super car or something because its not.
