Hi every body,

I am Joe from Malta(small island south of Italy), after been viewing the forum from the beginning, I finally decided to register.

Always good stuff goin on here.

I am the proud owner of a 92T, my mods include, Trust T88 on custom s/s tubular header, Trust W/gate vented to atmosphere, custom FFIM, 85mm T/B, Ross forged slugs, Crower rods, HKS gasket, RPS carbon clutch, 2 stage nitrous injection and lots of other stuff! :eusa_ange

After a long break of 10 months, I am back on my Supra project, currently I am rebuilding the lower end with new specs.

Hope to be ready soon!

P.S. anyone have a used AEM ems for sale?

Welcome and good luck.

Are there any tracks, either road course or drag strip, on Malta? I know you guys have an off-road rally there but I doubt your Supra is a dirt buggy ;)

Hey, thank for the welcome man,

We've got only a drag strip over here! And I've never heared of any rallyes! But there are many hillclimbs goin on. And there used to be some sprints but now they stopped.

The islands are incredibly small!

Not to make light of a small but beautiful island, but I'm thinking that the "Maltese National Sea to Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dash" would be like a 10 second run?

In case you are not familiar with this strange concept, this link refers to the Cannonball Baker Sea to Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dash sometimes held in the U.S. ...approx 38hr coast to coast

Welcome to the site, sounds like you've got quite the car build going on. Do you have any pictures of your car?

To be honest I did the run from the northernmost part of the island(Cirkewwa) to the South(Marsaxlokk) in less than 18 minutes with my RX7! On a Thursday night without traffic!

How many Supras in Malta?

6 MA70's that I know of that are Turbo, mine(black), 2(metallic red), 1 Grey, 1 dark Green, 1 red.

And other 4 non-turbos Ma70's.

And 1 JZA80.

There is also a guy who is running 7M power in a Celica Supra Mk1( very fast) I think he's in the upper 10's now. 10.8 or 10.9 I think!

Supras are considered very exclusive over here, partly because the difficulty and huge taxes involved in importing cars with engines over 2 litres and partly because of their rarity, that is due in part to their 3litre engine!

I could have swore I just posted but the pics were up. Thanks for the nice job you have done restoring the 7mgte. That and the 7mge, I fear are becoming old school motors. I don't want that to happen.
