Did you make the shields/shrouds under the vents to prevent water from entering unwanted areas of the engine comparetment, or do they come with the hood when it is brand new? I know the hood came with the car, so maybe you don't know...

They come with the hood when you get it from Toyota, I will make one out of acrylic for the other side if someone needs it when buying the hood. I don't drive the car in the rain ever so I don't need one. They are also made of fiberglass. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Very interesting to note. I guess this is why real TRD costs more. Fits correct AND comes with extra pieces to make it right.

I've seen people advertise their hoods as real TRD when they do not have those fiberglass shrouds. I always thought they may be scamming b/c of it.

Yeah im not sure on the fakes I have never seen one. You can see why the TRD hood costs a lot when you buy them, it is truely a factory quality hood.

This hood has been sold for over a year, If you don't know why a real TRD hood is special then you probably drive a Civic. It's not Wren! :middlefin It's Ren.
