I cannot access the "Other" Supraforums. You know, the one run by Dusty @ MVP. Today is Jan 11, 2006. I have been unable to connect for a couple of days now. Has anybody else been experiencing difficulty or just me? Supraforums is the only site not working for me.

Just thought I'd put a feeler out and see whats going on.

Thanks in advance for any replies. Trying to track down if this is my internet problem or their problem.

Don't know what's up. I thought it was the server at work blocking the website.

Maybe they have problems with their systems because I am still waiting replies from several emails sent last weekend

Wanted to let you guys know that *sitename* will be offline from sometime Saturday morning until Wednesday 1/11/2006. We're relocating the server and also adding a new one to the configuration. We apologize for the inconenience but are taking measures to increase the speed and performance of the forum.

On Supramania, they said the site will be down until Thursday now.

I like Thesupraforums.com (this site), and I really enjoy reading what ChrisB writes (short, simple, to the point, on topic). I wish this forum was a bit bigger and had more information, but it will do for now! I read what I can, and then I go on to more internet places, since I run out of things to read here!

Obviously not, well I'm judging that by the 50 posts on SM earlier today with people whining and wanting to know why SF is down :woowoo:

the supra forums are down till thursday ,it was supose to be only one day but they are moving to a new server (well 2 new servers) to avoid any future problems of slow down so they rather make sure its done right the first time :) and are keeping it down one more day.

I was stretching to make my point, plus I'm not for censorship. But my point is that Chris exerts all the effort and expense to make this place for us and what do some people do? ...talk about why they can't do their business or can't post or can't spend time at some other place. IMO that is grossly inconsiderate at the least.

Everyone seems to love SF for some reason, I'm not that fond of it. Half the pages don't load for me. When they went down for the server change or whatever they did, over on Supramania there were like 50 posts about why was it down!? everyone can't seem to live without it. There are other good Supra sites not just SF, that's why I think it would be a stupid idea.

I'm not that fond of it either, so maybe neither of us are so stupid ;) But I go there anyway when it's a necessity for me.

I've never been to Supramania. Obviously, I come here and hope this forum can be better than the others for most of us who love Supras.

If you could not tell, I love this site, and visit frequently. Chris understands we are all diverse, and I think he is happy to have us here.

We love you guys. I'm an IT guy as well as a Supra owner. If the other supraforums keeps crashing and continues to be obsessively slow, I think people will continue to migrate to this forum. Just keep up the great posting and we'll make sure this forum stays up. We'll also hook you up on the parts you need at the prices you want.
