I've never seen such an alarming number of those people since I came out to HI. The drivers here are horrible.

Another one of mine is when you're clearly going faster than the person in the lane next to you on the highway and they pull in front of you so that you have to get all over the brakes. It's like they do it on purpose. Somebody did that to me so bad a couple nights ago that it scared my wife. That's a real good way to piss me off.

If you want to start talking about what people do at work, then just say it. I've got a number of those to discuss, though I really don't like talking about work when I'm not there.

I drive an 18 wheeler. I get no respect on the road. Basically all drivers in seattle are oblivious to what 40tons will do to a 2 ton car... So far I've taught 3 people what happens, none my fault and no damage to my truck.

Jeff I hear you on the people pacing each other, and then there is the guy that decides to play traffic cop and blocks you and won't let you past... I'm not trying to be a dick really, but I want to go faster then you, not to beat you its just to get where im going faster. You don't want to drive that fast then get the f#ck outta the way.

how about the overwhelming amount of people who drive in the fast lane at the speed limit. i try getting close to them and backing up then getting close a few times so they get the hint, but they're too dumb to move over. :beef:

i hate when ur driving on the highway on theres a car in front going the same speed as you..pretty much cruising along, and there's no one in front of them and they hit the brakes where tehre's no need to hit the brakes, i hate that...people braking for no apparent reason, that pisses me off the most, i mean why brake when theres no one around?

oh, this one happened last night

i was driving in the fast lane behind this bmw that was doing under the speed limit... so i get close to him a few times to try to get him to move the **** over... but he wont do it. so i go over a few lanes then switch back in front of him. then the ****er starts tailgating me with his high beams on. EVEN IF I SWITCH LANES. wtf!!! so i had to wait for an opening up ahead so i can leave his dumbass.

Joe-I recommend two solutions to those pesky tailgaters. The ones driving the German cars with that ego and all are often the worst of the kind. What I'd suggest doing is either slow down to the minimum speed limit-45 I believe-and see if he/she wants to cruise there. If you'd rather not do that, then you've got more than enough power to leave them in the dust in just a few seconds. You could do that and get in front of a few cars ahead of you depending on how thick the traffic is.

haha the worst are the dudes driving the porsche boxters....they think youre always trying to race them just cause you got some rims and an exhaust... madd funny when i smoke them, when u pass them and get in front of them cause theyre moving slow...they speed up and pass you and they just keep speeding like they got a supercar...madd annoying cause when you catch up you gotta pass them again cause theyre going slow.....maybe this only happens to me :aiwebs_01

Porsche owners are also overly cocky and were also included when I mentioned German car drivers. People thinking they're pure badass driving a Boxster-the base Porsche are clearly not the most knowledgable car owners out there. The joke is on them.

you know cars are quick? audi a4's with the quattro system...damn they get traction real quick...i was playing with a friend in his a4 and i was in my acura vigor...those things get off the line..but i caught him going into the top end, but he sucks at driving, he just learned stick like a month ago

Haha, I don't have much of a problem with tailgaters (usually I drive faster than the flow of traffic) but on the rare occasion someone is on my ass and there's no where to go I downshift to ~5000rpm and do the 1-sec WOT pull, let off, then tap the gas again. Instant flame & backfire. Usually backs people off pretty quick...

Tailgaters when I'm stuck in traffic. Otherwise I wouldn't have tailgater problems because I drive fast as shit all the time.
People that flip on their turn signal and think they automatically have the right to change lanes.

Is it my imagination or do women tend to tailgate more than men? I have run into "aggressively" tailgating men too, but seems women are more common. Since I don't ever drive slow (80 minimum on highways) unless there is traffic in front of me, I can't take the tailgating; and if I see somebody coming up behind me I'm already out of their way unless there is no place for me and/or him to go so then I hold my ground. Again this morning, an under 30 oblivious babe in a Jeep Wrangler thing comes up behind me and attaches herself not more than a couple feet off my back bumper ...I'm thinking I'll step on my brakes hard but I worry she'd loose control and roll over stupid bitch; I'm going a tad over 80 and about 4 or so car lengths ahead of me is another guy going along at the same pace with at least five or six others in line ahead of him, and all two lanes to the right are full and slower. I have stepped on my brakes in plenty of cases like this, but I thought this one was a prime candidate to loose it if I did. Eventually she pulled into the middle, then right lane to get off the next exit.

I know i'll get heat for this but....I hate all the street racer STi guys, they think they are the shit and are the cockiest people alive. I'd take a supra over an STi anyday! camera's that's my pet peeve. is it neccesary to have over 1500 cameras of varing types over a 250 mile stretch of motorway? i don't think so. in fact the only place you won't find speed cameras is outside a school or a playground where they are needed. motorist are treated like criminals in the uk and taxed to death and now the police have won the rights to hide or disguise them. to my knowlege they haven't caught one terrorist by using them but have managed to raise billions every year from issueing tickets with them but if you accidently pull one down or fill it with expanding foam then it's 5 years inside like some sort of murderer. isn't our justice system great!

Personally......., I didn't know how to drive till I lived in Long Beach. You take that cali style of driving somewhere else and you win everytime, be thankfull. No other place have I been where traffic is running 90mph on the 405n and stops all of the sudden, lol.

try our overcrowded motorways in the uk. that will happen to you about 6 times an hour and we only have 3 lanes to play in! the m25 is the worlds biggest parking lot!
