Check to see that the sensor at the top of the back of your brake pedal is being pushed in when the brake pedal is pressed. Also, REPLACE the brake light fuse, just because the fuse looks ok doesn't mean it is. After this I would try looking for faults in the wiring or something getting grounded out.

Using a test light (circuit light), check for power at the bulb tip. I use a broom handle to keep the brake pedal pushed while I'm messing around back there. If there isn't any power, start working your way forward along the wiring, checking for continuity all the way. If there is power to the bulb, but it still doesn't light, clean the connection on both the bottom of the bulb and the bulb housing. I have one set of lights that will short out if I close the hatch too hard.

The tail lamp failure module is renowned for failing after several years of use. The brake and parking/taillight power runs through this circuit in two different places. The box is more likely to fail if the seal around the left hand tail lamp assembly is leaking. The box is located just below that tail lamp; Pull it out and test at the harness to see if there's power coming through when the brake is pressed (the green wire with white stripe).
