I'm going to order some studs but remembered people posting a while ago, that one of the ARP studs was a wrong length in the set(or people had problems getting it to clear another part in the engine. Just wondering if there was any special order number I had to specify when I ordered them. Just didnt have to send them bac

Nope. Mistakes like that happen on rare occasion, but there isn't anything you can do other than order the correct part number (203-4202).
As far as them not clearing parts of the engine, I think that's a combination of two normal issues. The first, is that with the EGR cooler on the head, it would be very difficult if not impossible to install the head with the block in the car (and the studs pre-installed). There firewall clearance is so tight, that the head can't go on without tilting the engine block... The new style ARP studs have an allen "head" so you can install the studs once you have already put the head on the block.
The other issue is that the cam lobes will occasionally take away easy access to the head bolt holes. You just simply turn the cams to move the lobes out of your way to gain access to obstructed holes...

Maybe he was refering to when the main studs interfeered with the oil pump assembly, before the ytook out the 2 problem studs and included 2 bolts in the kits?

well, he did say head studs... so im assuming that he meant the studs on the top of the engine that hold the head on...
with the block in the car, you do have to worry about the EGR cooler hitting the pinchweld on the firewall there. but the other thing you have to look out for is that excessivly gay heater hose union bolt. it protrudes off the rear of the head towards the firewall and is likely to get caught up on that pinch weld.
if you have to do this w/ the block in the car, do as jeff said and lay the gasket and head on the block first, then install the studs thru the head into the block using the allen key. just make sure you dont tighten the studs into the block deck too hard.
the mainstuds are another thing that will have clearance issues too, like whats-his-face said. the 2 bolts sit diagonal to eachother. one sits right next to the oil pump mounting boss on the block, the other sits right next to the 6mm threaded hole that supports the oil pump pickup. if these are in the wrong holes, you wont be able to mount your pump or pickup.
