The reaction time has no effect on 60 ft and ET, so Dana was just taking his time getting everything ready to launch before he pulled the trigger. :)

It was a solo pass, so he didn't need to catch a good light, Dana was concentrating on getting a good et that pass so didn't care for the reaction time. He launch in 2nd gear by accident and pop into 3rd by the 330 ft, he was in 3rd gear for 7.5 seconds through the quarter mile. Imagine what the ET would be if he launch in 1st gear :aiwebs_02 . 60's was mid 1.4's that pass.
