well i finally got my car running today (barely tho), a while back a friend of mine told me that the n/a intake manifold would work on my 7m-gte, but a few days ago he came back and said they arent compatible or something, but heres whats wrong - when i start it, it has a nasty lope for a few seconds jumping from 400-800 then it smooths out to 2800(???), ive moved the CPS around tryin to see if i can bring it down but moving the Cps doesnt affect it at all. i was thinkin its the N/A manifold truly isnt compatible and was gonna put my turbo manifold back on tomorrow, but does anyone know why it might idle like that? any help is greatly appreciated

The NA manifold has ACIS (Air controlled intake system) incorporated into it. The gte and ge manifolds are not compatible.
