I heard there was a black MKIV that hit the wall Saturday night. He had a single turbo and was and auto, but other than that, I can't find anything else out. Anyone have any other info on this? I heard he drove off the track and disappeared.

I don't know anything about the damage other than he drove off, so it must not have been really major. But any crash is going to be expensive to fix.

At least he didn't hit it head on and only scrapped the side. I thought it was much worse from what I heard. Thanks for the link.

This may sound stupid to you but hey im only 20. But why would having slicks on the rear and 19s on the front make u spin out any easier?

When you are on soft tires, the side walls are soft as well, when you get on/off the gas, your car weight shifts from side to side, and because you are on a soft wall tire, your rear will tend to sway v.s regular tire which will not. In a situation like that, when you have a full weight/patch front tire on, you will try to over correct each time the rear starts to sway, and thats what cause the black one to crash, ofcourse you need to exceed a certain power level, example when my car was runnning high 10's, 18's up front was fine, the moment it got below 10.40, then it was all over the place, my 10.1 run I almost killed a bike in the other lane, moment I put skinnies on up front, is straight as an arrow now.
