A special thanks to Keith Hart (on the left) for all the hard work that went into coordinating all of these events. It was a lot of work and really paid off this year with an outstanding turnout.

The dyno event was a bit scary at times. We all ate some rubber as Cody's Supra was strapped a little too low to the ground and his tire disintegrated. But there were some crazy #'s.

Here are the winners of each dyno event category... Congrats to all of these guys.....

the MKIV stock twin class only topped out at 353? damn, the 1J stock twin winner beat the MKIV stock twin :D

that was done by tony (not sure of last name) from socal

Nice, that's sounds wierd 1jz more pwr on stock twins than a 2jz. That would make a good challenge stock 1jz twins vs stock 2jz twins which one can produce more pwr

the 2J will always max out more. record for 2J is at 500 something isnt it?

1Js on stock twins wont touch that. the 1J in question had BPU mods plus cams and some afc tuning. at 16-17psi i think he said.

I can understand that Smaay, what is the most that a 1jz will do on stock twins. Is that kind of close with 17psi on stock 1jz twins, thought those turbos start to go bad when pushed to 17psi because the kind of metal they are made out of

upgradedsupra

Don't forget that the record on stock twins for the 2j has many other mods to go along with the "stock twins." not a simple BPU mod either .. try ++++

the 370 tony dynoed is a DAMN good number for the stock 1J twins. it seems cams really helped the motor out than i would have thought. in the US thats the highest ive heard as far as i know. an upgraded ypipe mod would help him bump it up some. not to mention he made 420 tq too. who says the 1J is torqueless :respekt:

but at those levels high in boost the twins will start to hate you and eventually pop most likely :). but then you have an excuse to go single

Just because you were annoucing it doesn't mean you are right. It was with NO spray. Why would I need spray to make a measly 1200rwhp with an 88mm turbo? I made 1290rwhp on boost on the 3.0L engine on spray. Just because one Supra with an 88 only made 1120rwhp doesn't mean mine will:)

Chris only responded to what you told him....maybe if you didn't lie about everything all the time you might actually remember what the truth is. Saad does and has ALWAYS made more power than you ever will!

Odd.... You told me personally about 5 minutes before you dynoed that you couldn't beat Saad's #s. I asked if you were going to spray right before the pull and you said yes so I announced it on the microphone. That's why Saad won the all turbo award, and you won the overall. I don't see any "2nd Place" on the picture of Saad and his trophy he's holding in the picture above.

I'm not sure what you're trying to gain by stating otherwise. If you want, I'll edit the picture of you and your trophy to say whatever you want. (e.g. only 5 cylinders, 10 psi of boost, 87 octane gas)

Chris, you asked me if I could beat 1120rwhp and I said my car doesn't make that much power. What's odd about that??? It's called sarcasm! You also don't listen well because I told you I would not spray on my first pull. What sense would it make for me to spray my car when I knew the dyno only read to 1200rwhp and I knew I'd peg it at my base boost?

Anyone knows an 88mm turbo properly setup will make more than 1200rwhp on boost. It's as easy as bolting on parts right?

Chris, I remember it the same way as you...what you need to understand is that in Lyan's world, what comes out of his mouth and what goes through his head when he talks are mostly 2 completely different things! I bet your good with photo shop though...let's see what you can come up with!:)

Maybe that's why nobody ever believes what you say. Your sarcasm gets the best of you. Let's say that you didn't tell me you were using NOS when you did, then why didn't it occur to you to correct me on the 4 occasions I announced you were using NOS both before and after your run? Why did Saad get the All Turbo Trophy? Why didn't you say anything then because that should have been your trophy?

Chris.

Ryan, don't be a doink. Admit that you ****ed up for once.

If you told Chris you were going to spray, and didn't. oops for you. Maybe you should lay off the sarcasm as it looks like you are not that good at it.

Did you know the dyno maxed at 1200rwhp before your ran or after?

In the world of Ryan Woon, hindsight is 30/20 and mistakes are unheard of.

I'm not an asshole like some people on here or I would have. I could have SLAMMED Sad for blowing his shit up AGAIN after all his shit talking about running 8's, going 170mph, blah blah blah.

Jason, you're an idiot. I don't care how much power your buddy makes. This game has never been about PEAK power. I've never set out to make big numbers on the dyno like you and Sad. He's made 1600rwhp? So what. What's his best ET and MPH to date? That's what I thought:) Let the excuses come falling from the heavens and the la la land you live in above... No more posts from me. As far as you being a "asshole" well let's not take your word for that...

let's see here....you make a statement about Saad "Only" making 1130 on boost...yet it's not about power...then every chance you get, you bring up how much power you make.... It's not about peak power....are you now trying to say you make more power across more rpm than Saad..... NOT! What happened to your 8 second passes...hell the last two passes I made were quicker than your last two...Ryan your the only "Idiot" that has posted on this thread. You lie about what you said to Chris, with dozens of witnesses standing around....make some comments about one thing....then say it doesn't matter afterwords... Do us ALL a favor and stay on SF where you boys can help you pat your back.

Chris

Nah, I heard he's running 8 psi of boost and 87 octane fuel. :eusa_shif

Nitrous does change dyno results significantly, even if it's not injected into the engine. I remember when Tozer emptied an entire bottle of NOS on his intercooler right in front of me and several other people and promptly dynoed 902 instead of low 800's he did on the pull right before. Then later claimed his power was from turbo only.

When we have various categories for the dyno and for the track, it is done to give credit where credit is due. It doesn't make sense to have a NOS'd motor compete against a non-NOS'd motor because the power gain from NOS alone is so significant.

If Ryan didn't use NOS, that's fine, but he should have corrected me, and corrected Keith so he would have won both awards and nobody would have been confused. Next year, we're going to have to remove nitrous bottles from Supras on the dyno so we don't have to disect the truth out of conflicting stories later.

Take care,
Chris.
