does anyone know of one that is made for the 2j/1j
we're having a small problem with breaking them and scaring us into thinking we have rod knock :p
so... we need a strong aftermarket flexplate... what's out there?
Thanks :D

Nothing so far. I've called Level 10, PI, ATI, Paisley, and SP. None of them make one for the 2JZ with stock automatic. And none of them had had any issues like this in the past, so I bet something is not lining up correctly.
ATI does make one for the 5M, but the crank-bolt pattern is different...

thanks for doing that for me :)
looks like we'll get a custom one made... the tranny is dealing with 1150nm of torque on a daily basis so i'm kinda forgiving it for letting go hehe

Not sure how much torque that is, but I'm surprsed the transmissions are holding up if you're making enough power to break flexplates

according to a conversion calculator it's 848ft lbs of torque :eyebulge:
this trannie loves us... for some reason it will not break... it's been playing behind 450whp for about 8months or so
not sure if its modified or not... doesn't appear to be, just a random a340e tranny we had lying around
altho previous trannies the mighty a342's and other a340e's have self anniliated without much help ;)
