Well, here's my car, my green '86 MkII (rarest year).

It's not a stock color, of course, and she has 184,600 miles on the 5M. Still runs good but it burns & leaks a bit of oil, so I'm going to tear her down and do a full rebuild this winter. Mods are pretty simple, intake, crappy crush-bent exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler, Momo wheel, KVR brake pads, and not anything else worth noting. After I do the rebuild I'm going to put on my beatiful Tri-Mil exhaust header (equal length primaries and everything), get a hi-flow cat, and a real exhaust, then go to town on the suspension.

Looks great! I'm very jealous, it's near impossible to find a MK2 in that condition :(

Thanks! It's really not as good as it looks, though. I mean it's structurally great, but it has lots of smaller mechanical things wrong with it. The previous owner let it sit uncovered for quite a few months in the Florida sun before he sold it to me, so I've needed to redo the entire interior, put new tires on it, and I'm still getting around to other things he probably should have done.

Every once in a while I wish I had waited it out and just got a good Starion or something, but overall I'm pretty happy with this car.

Very nice, I'd love to pick up an MKII.

The exterior looks good, except for the color. I'm sure it enjoys being owned by you and finally getting the attention it needs.

Welcome to the new forum.

Loki-AN MKII? Didn't we already discuss this?
