Chiefgroover 10-08-2005, 04:50 AM Hello!
I have my Supra 2 1/2 years, and here's how it is now.
GT2835R and Type R FMIC
PHR stage 2 fuel kit
Twin spark
Superdragger
264's and crower springs
South bend Feramic
TRD front bushes
Hipermax 2's
Antera 309's with excellent Bridgestone RE050a
DBA discs and endless CCX, goodridge hoses, 5.1.
AEM EMS
Toyota side skirts
98 spec rear lights
98 spec front indicators
TRD steering wheel
Rockford 9420 head, Audio control DQS, Soundsream 550.5, P.Gold T.Elite 5 1/4 and Xenon sub, 5 Farad cap, circle earth.
Massive tyre noise reduction, so I can hear the engine, exhaust and stereo. Tyre noise sucks, it aint sporty.

Chiefgroover 10-08-2005, 10:18 AM Between gettin driven around Germany at 150mph + by Katrin, and being too stunned by the fit bird in the black Supra to re pass her, my 8M 32sec lap of the ring fades into insignificance.
Enough of your jive man, get that wagon of yours down to Kirkistown next Saturday so I can show you what pair of big twins can do :tweetz: :moon: :middlefin ;)
Loki89t 10-08-2005, 11:47 AM Welcome to the site.
ChrisB 10-08-2005, 11:53 AM Must be nice to go 150 legally!!!!
SP 7M 10-08-2005, 12:44 PM I'm not a member of SF, so I can't log in and see your pics. I'd really like to see the ones from Nurburgring. Driving around that track has to be a hell of an experience.
I hear you have universal heathcare in England-sorry to hear that.
Welcome. Try to stay healthy. ;)
Chiefgroover 10-08-2005, 01:05 PM file size is a bit small on`here!
Chiefgroover 10-08-2005, 01:22 PM At the ring, in my 22 years of driving, every experience put together wouldn't make one lap of this awesome place.
Chiefgroover 10-08-2005, 01:23 PM Thank you guys for your kind comments :-)

:hitcomput LOL. Those pictures are awesome. 8:32 is pretty good, isn't it?
ma71supraturbo 10-08-2005, 04:07 PM Nice action shots!
Chiefgroover 10-08-2005, 07:10 PM not in any hurry to repeat 8:32, unless I have race rubber and a load more laps under the belt.
Will post more tomorrow,
Keep the Supra's out in front :-) I blow 911's driven by Germans with ease, what fun it is, the only Supra badge they should ever see is the tailgate one :-)
SP 7M 10-08-2005, 11:34 PM I blow 911's driven by Germans with ease, what fun it is, the only Supra badge they should ever see is the tailgate one :-)F*ckin' A!
Nice-looking ride you've got there.
SP 7M 10-09-2005, 12:14 AM I checked on something for you.
Here are some lap times laid down by the drivers of Best Motoring International. Keep in mind, BMI is very picky when it comes to selecting drivers. Only the most highly-skilled professional drivers are working there.
89 Skyline R32 GTR-8:22
90 Honda NSX-8:16
91 Porsche 911 Turbo-8:08
92 Honda NSX-R-8:03
02 Honda NSX-R-7:56
06 Subaru WRX STI Spec C prototype-8:06
I think that your lap time is very respectable considering that this was your first time at the 'Ring and that you aren't a veteran professional driver.
You're extremely lucky to have had the chance to drive there.
Chiefgroover 10-09-2005, 02:45 AM 3rd time at the ring!
Blitz Supra did it in 7M 22sec, now that moving!
SP 7M 10-09-2005, 06:20 AM Ah, third time. Lucky you!
I'd imagine that it's a very intimidating track to go fast on. It's got just about anything that a racetrack could throw at you.
Chiefgroover 10-09-2005, 06:40 AM First lap of the ring is heavy duty stuff, especially if you have opted to follow a local Porsche. The biggest surprise is there amount of hills, there really isnt much in the line of flat surfaces. There are fast S bends with 2 different cambers which can throw you badly if you are too heavy handed with the steering. The 2 carousels are awful, made of what I think are concrete squares. It is like a mountain drive, actually thats what it is. Seeing everything from a 1966 Ford Anglia to a 52 seater Bus on the track made me realise your biggest danger is the other guy. Motorbikes are a menace, slow on corners and think they own the track, I'd ban them if i could, I think most car drivers there would agree.
Where I live in Northern Ireland the roads are bumpy with endless corners so I felt at home, but I can see why the Germans struggle to get to grips with it, they are spoilt with big open roads.
If you can ever get there, should you hire a car to do it with i would recommend it.
jake89 04-27-2011, 08:10 AM Welcome aboard! I am too new and finding this site so interesting.hope you too have a great stay.
