ChrisB 10-07-2005, 10:37 PM I noticed the driver on the opposite side of a US Supra. Are all Austrailian Supras like that?
SupraPolak 10-07-2005, 10:42 PM Yes, all Australian Supras/cars are right hand drive :tweetz:
TT Aero 10-07-2005, 11:03 PM I noticed the driver on the opposite side of a US Supra. Are all Austrailian Supras like that?
I'd never really considered that I'm sitting on the opposite side but yeah all our Mkiv's are second hand j-spec right hand drive imports.
Interestingly in Japan the Aero Top was only available with auto transmission and sold in very low numbers compared to the US with the TT version discontinued after only a couple of years of production so where a TT Hard Top is unusual or even rare for you the opposite applies here with TT Aero Tops attracting a premium over Hard Tops.
Personally as good as the auto is I have had enough of it so am in the process of upgrading my ride to US spec changing turbos, cams, brakes, transmission and diff so that what I end up with will efectively be a stock US spec 6 speed TT Aero.

Hmm, I wonder how hard it would be to import a RHD hardtop? :D

Should be quite easy to find one I guess it just depends on your countries import laws j-spec imports may be able to direct you

SupraPolak 10-08-2005, 08:36 PM www.j-spec.com.au or even www.prestigemotorsport.com.au will do the trick ;)
But that GT Limited Turbo-A is definitiely drool worthy....
SP 7M 10-09-2005, 12:33 AM Killer Turbo A. Those rims really compliment it nicely. I'm afraid you'll need to remove your license plate from the front of the duct. What do you have done to it? More pics, please.
SupraPolak-That's a lovely Chaser you have there. May we see more of it?
I like your MKIV, too, but the lip isn't doing it for me. Nice rims.
SupraPolak 10-09-2005, 12:42 AM SP 7M: It's a genuine VeilSide lip and it came with the car from Japan. I don't mind it personally ;) but at the moment I'm trying to stay away from spending money on aesthetics and directing my efforts towards performance.
BTW, just noticed, my rims are the same (Work Equip's) as on the Turbo-A :D
As for more pics of the Chaser... haven't got any, as the weather has been really crap lately and I haven't had time to go out and take some decent shots. :( Soon, though, very soon....
Keep them comming guys!

Their styling is just a little too flamboyant-if you will, for me. :tweetz:
We're on the same wavelengths as far as directing funds toward performance. As long as my Supra looks nice and clean I'm happy. Performance first-it's not a damn show car.
Your rims are awfully nice as well. I'm certainly a fan of Work wheels. They're definitely more common here on Okinawa than they are in America.

Licence plate has been moved for a long time. That pic was taken just after I bought it a year and a half ago.
It's actually for sale cause I don't drive it enough. See here for what's been done. http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=11409
And there's a tonne of pics here of both: http://www.funkynerd.com/gallery/supra
Thanks for the comments guys. :crazy01:

If I had the money I would buy that car in a heartbeat, I want a Turbo A
SP 7M 10-10-2005, 12:23 AM The Turbo A is just sick...ening. I think I'm going to vomit. lol
I am now more inspired to have a Turbo A duct installed on my Supra than ever before.
7MGTESUPRAMAN 10-12-2005, 09:28 AM Both car look great, the Turbo-A is nice especially with the black on black

Whats the offset on the wheels, looks awsome, i would drive this one all the time
7MGTESUPRAMAN 10-17-2005, 02:17 PM I would drive the Turbo-a most of the time too that's because I own a MKIII, I have not had the chance to ride in an MKIV yet; but it is proably a hard decision when you walk outside and have to choose between two very nice looking supras.
Brewster 10-17-2005, 02:46 PM :eyebulge: A Turbo A, you lucky dog. That thing is sweet.
upgradedsupra 10-18-2005, 10:53 PM Nice ride Jazz :)
Duane
7MGTESUPRAMAN 11-08-2005, 08:27 AM Jazz do you have any pics of the interior of the Turbo-A
Nick 95 6sp 11-08-2005, 11:30 AM Welcome. Very nice couple of Supras ...and the other cars too.
You're not the first international here though, the Bondi guy is from England, I think TomSid is from Scandanavia or Germany maybe I didn't go check his exact origin, and in my book "international" is also Canada since they are still another nation until we invade them pretty soon.
BlueRoomEffect 10-17-2006, 08:52 AM hey there, I only just joined this forum, I live in Australia, in Newcastle. just did a search on turboA and found you guys. Here are some pics of my turboA, the factory wheels came off about a week ago, so I dont hav any pics with the new wheels (there a 17" x 8.5" 5 spoke O.Z. 3peice) but will put some pics up of them soon. Engine is stock except for metal head gasket, 3.5" exhaust all the way to the turbo with METALCAT in the middle, Ohlins coil overs, twin plate clutch, and by the response into corners in the wet, probabbly a 1.5 way dif (might be a cusco but definatelly not standard) no power or performance figures yet as I just got it rego'd. I dont get on forums much so I hope these pics work.
BlueRoomEffect 10-17-2006, 09:09 AM ........Actually, I do have a picture of the O.Z. wheels, but but this pic of them is on my other supra, this one is only a GT turbo auto, but it has done me well for many years.
Christ 01-05-2012, 12:25 AM I may need to ask for this to be altered – I wonder if I am the first international member involved in this?
