: Interest in a new "wider" FMIC.
ChrisB 10-07-2005, 01:46 PM We have a new "wider" FMIC that we can produce that will completely fill up the center grill area so you won't see the end tanks from the front of the car. If the price was just slightly more than our current FMIC kit and around the same price as a GReddy 3-row, how many people would be interested?

I'm interested let me know is it Bar and Plate? Same as your three row just wider?
ChrisB 10-08-2005, 10:05 PM Exactly. Bar and plate, but no more of the stupid end tank look in the front. If there's enough interest, I'll build em.

wikedttz 10-09-2005, 07:35 AM just wondering but is the pipeing alum or steel?
Thanks
Jesse
ChrisB 10-09-2005, 12:43 PM The piping will be lightweight powdercoated steel. For polished stainless it will be $200 more. It resists crushing, even against T-bolt clamps.

pheobo 10-11-2005, 09:29 PM I would be interested for my next project, but replacing a working 3row and a working typeR doens't make sense now. I would have bought if it was on the market when I was shoping.
flubyux2 10-12-2005, 04:34 AM Chris, that sounds quite promising. do you have any CFM figures for that core you plant to use?
also, would this require a 4-row style pipe route or 3-row/through the fender style?
for the IC pipes, do you plan to use 0.048" wall thickness or thinner?
ChrisB 10-12-2005, 11:55 AM I don't have any CFM figures. We're going to use the same core we use in our standard HPF IC's which have less pressure drop than a GReddy 3-row. These new IC's will be larger than the GReddy 4-row but should be more efficient and have less pressure drop across the core. The IC pipes will be the same thickness as our standard IC pipes. They're made of steel and will not crush under a T-bolt clamp. We will sell them with stock turbo piping (e.g. 3-row) or big single piping (e.g. 4-row).
Take care,
Chris.
flubyux2 10-13-2005, 02:20 AM this sounds really promising. what are the chances of seeing a few pre-fab pics of the core or mock up?
I would be ready to put my money down for it, if I can get it till Christmas.
bonz 2 11-20-2005, 08:04 PM Any new news? Is this going to happen?

We're done with the Behemoth Intercooler kits and they're ready to ship. We have two versions, stock twins and big singles. They will directly bolt up to the stock throttle body and stock intake manifold. We haven't built an option yet for the Virtual Works or Veilside.
Here's the complete details.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Broken Silver 6spd 11-21-2005, 07:40 PM I thought you had an IC kit with piping to bolt up to your HPF GT42 kit and VW kit. It used to be listed on your site...

We didn't sell enough to make it worth while. Instead we built a kit that will provide a bigger intercooler for the highest percentage of MKIV Supras.

Khader K. 01-29-2006, 05:10 PM Chris any pictures of these fitted yet?

Nope. We've sold some of the cores, but no complete kits. Once I start racing again this year, I'll probably swap one out in my Supra.

witeenigma 01-31-2006, 06:54 PM i'm so glad i didn't jump in on any IC kit yet for my bone stock mk4 :D
