Ever see a Mkiii on tv or in a movie

I was wonder what tv shows or movies had the MkIII in it

I was watching twins that one movie with arnold and danny devioto and the part when arnold finds one of his dads theres a black n/a supra in the background sitting on sawblades I was like OMG.

Freeway Speedway 3 features a mk3 for some time.

Cameo appearances in: Heartbreakers, Taxi, Seinfield, Northern Exposure, Worlds wildest police videos, Dateline (on aggressive drivers), CKY3, Boris and Natasha (HBO movie), Freddy got fingered, Secret Window, Godsend, Initial D, etc

Wasn't there one in the latest shit version of TAXI? I thought it was involved in an accident when the "ghetto pimped out" taxi decided to swerve around some cars.

There was one on Home Improvement and I swear that in another epsiode of Home Improvment they had a calender hanging on the wall in the kitchen and that it had a pic of a MKIII.

I saw a MK3 about a year ago on a live TV chase. It was a NA and the car dumped fluid all over the ground when it finally stopped (way ahead of the squad cars, but below the helicopter). Made me think he got a BHG :lol:

it was a white mk2, after the street race where he blows up that hideous green eclipse. You know when the floor starts to fall off and shit. When the five o break that shit up iz when you'll see that mk2. That being said why does everyone flock to the mk4??? Yeah, I remember. The white mk3 is in the bottom right corner of the screen when everyone pulls out when the cops break up the mad tight jdm street racing.

exactly. they can afford to crash it because they picked it up for like 500-1000 dollars probably. no real worth to them. busted MKIIIs are dime a dozen. theyre not gonna take a MKIV which is rarer and crush it for no reason.

just to get an idea. there were more supras made in 89 then every year combined for the MKIV...

I got into a rocky mode, and low and behold, rocky IV has an mkiii. It was the ugliest color i can imagine a supra in, and it was rocky's wife pulling up in it. Looked like a brand new 87 supra, turbo. and of course rocky has his lamborghini. Thought you might like that.

There was an MKII in Back to the Future. It appears at the start of the movie when Marty is riding on his skateboard on the back of the jeep. It is parked along the street.

yeah you are right they did show Rocky's wife driving an MK3, and it was difinitely turbo. Look closely and you will see the badging and all. Yeah it was an ugly color on it but you got to admit, at the time, the turbo was just born right out of the plant at that time so that right there ladies and gents would be the first and last time you would probably see the most cleanest MK3 on the big screen. Damn, every time I watch that, it gives me goose bumps and makes my eyes all watery. lol.
