: Tial 44mm WG question

I have at moment a HKS header with HKS GT WG v banded on with dump tube. Question is will a Tial 44mm be able to vband at same spot with no mods? Or is Tial v band a different size?

Not sure. Worst case, you can simply chop off the HKS flange and weld the new Tial flanges on. The Tial 44mm comes with both flanges (one for inlet and one for outlet). I think fitment will be fine other than that.

im using the Tial 44MM wastegate on my Celica 2ZZ turbo...im very happy with it...holds boost perfectly on my GT35R. I hope these pics give you an idea for installation

Sorry Smaay but those have to be some of the ugliest welds I've ever seen.

Tony... the wastegate will work in the same spot. You can see from Smaay's picture that they're about the same size as the HKS. Notice the Tial has a nice fat outlet on it. It does such an awesome job controlling boost.

yeah thay aint pretty, but they do the job, and im not in a beauty contest, its all about crossing the finish line first. here is a shot of it with the 35MM Tial
