How should I go about getting this off? I want it to be smooth bare metal and leave the paint already there if possible. Any ideas? This is where the headliner used to be.
One of the very last parts of my interior I have to finish :snork_lac

I can tell you how not to do it: razor-blade. It ended up scratching my roof...
I tried some solvents without much luck, that stuff is pretty well stuck on there. If you find a better solution, please let us all know

Just leave it. That's a very unique look that many of us Supra owners wish we could attain some day.

Well I used a comb and it got all of the fuzz off. I'll finish up removing the layer of residue by using a razor blade very carefully. Seems to work very well for me so far, no scratching, you just weren't patient enough Jeff ;)

A fair assumption :D My problem was probably trying to turn while still scraping. If you could go in nice straight/steady strokes it wouldn't be as big of a deal. I just had light scratching from the corners of the razorblade...

use skin so soft and it should take the adhesive off.
