i have a 1987 toyota supra non-turbo. last week i let my girlfriend drive my car to work, on her her way back to home the upper radiator hose blew and my engine got soaked with antifreeze. i had to replace my spark plugs because i had to wash all that coolant off so she was running like crap. now my battery doesn't seem to be holding a charge and the needle on the dash doesn't move either. the fuel gauge needle keeps moving up and down. the brake warning light and engine electrical light are on. my car has never done this. the battery and the alternator are both less than 6 months old. please help me! did i fry something under there?

Sounds like a bad electrical connection. Make sure everything is tight, and the terminals are clean

yeeeeps, you probably got water everywhere. i'd let it sit hood up for a while on a nice hot day.....then let it run for a LONG time, that should boil off any water that's not where it should be.

I agree w/drjonez, after you rinse the hell outta that engine. It matters alot whether she drove it after that happened for awhile too. You might be looking at more probs than electric. CLEAN. DRY. Crossfingers. (just don't get mad if it doesn't start right away, and run for 45 min-hour. too bad, nother reason you don't let your gf drive your ride.
