I wish my car could do that

I do like the vid.

Being a nitpick that I am, he is going 138mph. Toyota, like most manufacturers, had optimistic speedos. For safety reasons, not bragging rights.

Assuming he has a 24.7 inch standard tire and 3.91 rear. If not, Im wrong.

That's really not a big deal in a car like the Supra... I've pinned my speedo in my car (260km/h) and it was nice and stable. Only thing I was afraid of is the shitty tires exploding, but it was alright!

Wonder how fast I was actually going though

Shit, I love the high speed stability. That has to be one of the best attributes. 7 degrees of positive caster goes a long way.

Anyone know how fast I could get my stock one up to?

About 145mph... Full exhaust will get you over 150 easily

Nice, just gotta save up to get that exhaust... and many, many other things.

If it helps, my car has a shitty exhaust and increased boost pressure (below stock fuel cut) and it managed to exceed 160mph so I bet with a full exhaust you'll have no problem

This is my 1988 Supra TurboA - not on a straight road ;) (oh yeah, thats KM/h, not Miles) and thats in 4th gear...

I second that, very nice turboA. Interesting how different the guage layout is tho on it. Clock and fuel on left of speedo...

That's because it's right-hand-drive. The km/hr speedo is cool, I bet that could give some people a start when they look over and see you cruising on the freeway at 110 ;)
