Australia Represent!!!

We've got a huge supra network in Aus, guys. Come down sometime and go out for a cruise to any city on a thursday night. All you'll see are supra's, skyline's and any other performance car you can think of. If your into the muscle/classic cars, Friday night at certain meeting spots would really amaze you.

Crazy... I just wouldn't have figured that would be true. Are you guys importing them or were they originally sold there?

Chris.

All second hand imports Chris

The Nissan GTR was available new here but was extremely expensive and sold in such low numbers that I geuss Toyota decided there was not a business case for the MKiv Supra here

I'm sure the some MK3 supra's were Aus-delivered. Only the MA70's though.

yeah Supras were available locally until the last MK3 in 1992 by then a Turbo Targa cost just under AU$74k plus on roads

Hey cool, I was born in Austria!!! ;)

....j/k, it seems like most geographical braniacs that hear I was born in "Austria" usually mistake it for Australia, maybe you've heard that one before.

btw I was actually born in Austria but came to the U.S. when I was 4yo so I'm 100% U.S. American by heart and brain.

Hey all. Another Aussie! How many supra forums are there? It's getting crazy.

Yes, dunnies flush the other way round in the states, also the bowls half fill with water...very weird. And they have awesome "restrooms" where they flush when you get up or walk away, taps that turn on when you put your hands under them and paper towel dispensers that dispense a sheet when you wave your hand in front of them. So very cool :P

Also, we saw more imports, especially modded ones on our trip back from the Brisbane airport to home than we had the whole month in the states...not cool.
Yes, Broadwater would blow US minds. Although their hotrod shows in parking lots and streets are mad.

Ok, done now, :P

Hi, another dude from Aus. Melbourne western suburbs actually. There's heaps of supra's in melbourne. The thing that amazes me is that there seems to be more mk4 than mk3 & mk3's were sold through toyota dealers until the end of their production.
For some reason 1989 was their biggest year of sales of MA70 supra's. Any comments?
