Well my dashpot I guess needs a cleaning, but I'm not sure how to go about doing this. The throttle occasionally sticks open for a second or two and then closes, it gets really annoying during shifts and I don't want to kill my clutch. So how do I go about cleaning it? :help:

Cleaning the VTV:

(good reading on it): http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/TSRM/ec/EC_08.html

Cleaning the throttle body is also a good idea:

K, well then, I don't have a filter. I have everything else but the filter. I've read that link several times so yea I know how it works and what it does. I'll be sure to check the freeflow through the vtv. Thanks :snork_lac

Take a look at the cable and throttle plate if you have a sticking loud pedal.

Well my VTV was plugged so that was the problem. I removed it and all is well.
