Decided I need some cash for my other projects more than I need the Supra. Was going to chuck it on Ebay but thought I drop a line here first to give someone looking for a project a crack at it.

1988 Supra Targa 7MGTE 5spd

It popped the head gasket (was shut off right away and didnt get hot) and I bought it from a family member halfway torn apart and continued the project.

The good

New head, cams, head gasket, timing chain, radiator, water pump, some hoses, toyota service manual, clutch has maybe 5k on it. Front seats were recovered sometime ago and look decent.

The bad

Has some body issues the passenger front fender is tweaked and the hood, headlight panel, front bumper are all damaged in one way or another but other than the hood it isnt horrible and the hood doesnt make it not drivable. The core support maybe a little tweaked but nothing major. Small amount of rust on the rear quarters. Paint faded and clear coat peeling in some spots. 3000 pipe is missing.

Right now the head gasket repair is almost done the upper intake is bolter back on and most everything is wired and put together. At this point all it needs is a 3000 pipe, the plumbing and wiring hooked up, and the accessories installed and it would be a fine runner.

I just dont have the time to finish it and have too many irons in the fire. Make me an offer.

Itd be good for that. Id def. maybe consider putting new bearings in this one if you get it.

Ive considered keeping it lately but for the right offer Id let it go for sure.
