new to the post and new to surpa
I bought a 1988 turbo automatic trans. Owner said it had a trans is gone and has a major leak. I can't find a leak. When I start it, it drives and shifts fine, in all gears. Even when punching it. After about 5 minutes of running, it seems to go into neutral. No forward or reverse. I turn off the motor and wait 5 minutes and start it up. The trans works great for about another 5 minutes. The only other sympton maybe that it takes about 2 seconds for the trans to engage when it is put into gear. I have another trans, but I'm hoping that i don't have to swap this one out. Any help will be appreciated.
