Hey guys,

My 4 year old TRD Twin Disk Clutch is starting to slip in 5:th gear.
Does TRD have some kind of repair kit for the disks or can you buy new disks seperatly?

I know many people use this clutch so there must be something to do

Thanks

Regards

Tom

Yes, replacement discs are still available (as well as the middle plate). Shoot me an email if you would like more specifics: Jeff@horsepowerfreaks.com

4 years is good time. I've sent my clutch disk to subzerocryo.com to get treated. They will last longer. It doesn't do anyting for kevlar or carbon disk.

It ncreases the tensional strentgh of the glue that holds the material in places, so less wears off during slipping... it works on brake pads too.

Everyone knows to cryo rods and brake rotors, but it helps on pads and clutches too.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info.
I live in sweden so sending stuff to zubzerocryo would cost alot :)

I think I´m going to buy a completely new clutch setup. The replacement disks were quite expensive
