I need to know which wires going to and from the ECU are for the gas guage. My guage stopped working and I need to find out if one of the removed plugs was used as a connection between the ECU and the gas guage. All guages work besides the gas guage. I looked thru the body electrical ECU plug diagram but didn't see the gas guage mentioned on there.
Thanks for the help in advance. With gas prices like this I can't stand going to the pump every week to make sure I don't run low. :snork_abe

K well just an update, today my gas low light turned on so that is working, it's just not the guage. I found out that there are no gas guage wires going to the ECU, so that is ruled out. I checked the sending unit and everything seemed fine. Like I said I suspect a behind dash wiring problem, due to my shortened harness.
Does anybody know which behind dash wires are assossicated with the gas guage? I certainly am glad I kept all the extra plugs and wires, now I just need to know which ones to put back.

Hopefully this helps:

The Light coming on indicates that the sender is functioning properly. The issue is probably a grounded or open gauge signal wire (red & blue)

This is going to be a PITA, guess I've gotta follow the red/blue wire all the way from the guage cluster to the sender.

It's not like you have to remove your interior ;)

Yea, very true, but it's still gonna be a PITA ;)
