i just recently bought a 1990 mk3 supra. it had the non turbo 7mge motor and w58 tranny in it. the motor had a spun bearing and the tranny needed a decent amount of work, so i pulled them both out. so right at this moment i am at ground zero. i tested all the electronics before i pulled the motor and tranny and everything was working like a champ. so i have that ecu and wiring harness but i need to find out exactly what i need to do to have a complete and well done 1jzgte swap. i have heard that they need aftermarket motor mounts but thats about all. i have mechanics skill and a few hook-ups at some shops. money and time is not that much of a issue, but any money saving tips would be helpful. i was kinda hoping on building the motor myself but i have not found any decent build kits so if anyone knows of a website please let me know. i am looking for exact details on this swap or possibly a video so please help me out.
