Product: MDC Harness Bar
Place Purchased: MDC Motorsports
Price Paid: I was the "test mule"
Application: (86.5-92) Supra
Highlights: Bolt-in harness bar is stronger than the expensive Sparco.
Caveats: Requires cutting or removing rear seat bottoms (my car is gutted, no biggie)
Installation Difficulty (1-10, 10 being difficult): 2
Rating (1-10, 10 being best): 9.5
Additional Comments: These allow you to properly install racing harnesses in your MK3 (installing the shoulder straps to the floor at greater than a 45 degree angle is dangerous as it can cause spinal compression in a frontal impact). A side benefit is that the chassis rigidity was noticably improved.
