Looks like a$$.

You have to fill in the holes the molding leaves behind and repaint.

well the other option is to try and find an almost full set of side moldings to put on
im very new to the mk3 community and from what ive seen (3weeks of searching and ghosting on different forums) parts for this car are extremely hard to come by
if you know where i can get some parts it would be greatly appreciated

You may watch too much rob and big.
eh seen it a few times but i really dont watch tv
i spend most of my time on the forums and attempting to mod my car
i came from the 240sx camp and my car was pretty nice but some lady made a bad decision and ran into my baby and totaled it thus i was blessed to find a supra and now the work begins again

Yes the 240 is becoming hard to find in great shape.

This car is nothing like any nissan.
The supra is a breed of it's own.
Welcome aboard.

if you were to remove the side molding, wat could u use to fill it in? i know u cant use bondo cuz only ment for 1/8th of an inch or something, i dont like the moldin at all either

well what i plan to do is just fill the holes that the molding goes into with bondo sand it and paint it
i kinda like the way the valley looks between the wheels
on the outside of the wheels im going to leave the molding alone except to paint it
i think it will make for a very unique balanced look
and ive never seen anyone do it before

it doesnt come out right wen i picture wat ure describing but im sure u could make it work i guess, i think im just going to paint over mine

if you fill the holes up with bondo it will crack like a bitch, i plan on welding in sheet metal and feathering it with filler.

LEAD.

I'm going to fill in that nasty antenna hole.
I think I'm even going to have the dings in my body done with lead.

Forget bondo.

If you can find someone that even knows what you're talking about these days when you say "lead".

i did what dizahl is takin about for the antenna and rear windshield wiper hole and it came out fine, but i wish i would have thought about the lead thing, sounds better

I dont have any side mouldings. I didnt have a choice because the hack i bought my supra from had already torn it all off. Its not 100% perfect body work but i took my time and it came out not too bad. I shaved every seam. no bumper seams or anything.

I used a combo. started off with short and long strand fiberglass (kinda like bondo but with fiberglass strands in it) then used bondo to finish it to smooth. there is a few "waves" in it but hey, im no professional. plus, i painted her in the yard last summer. came out good tho. I will get a few more pics of the bumper seams in a day or too. OH and thanks for the compliments.

thought about the fiberglass. have used it for a ton of jet-ski and boat repairs. but i was unsure about how long it would last so my plan was to fill in about 3/4 of the void by welding in some sheatmetal and then fiberglass and then bondo to finish up with, no i love the shaved look i got so much shit for wanting to do it myself. then life happened and my supra still sits in the shop under a cover, work is so crazy now i have 0 free time hoping to get the motor out this month and then to the body work, shaving the trim and fixing one fender, paint and some wiring repairs, going to try to replace the targa top weather striping while i'm at it of course it doesn't leak (yet) so it might get put off
