hey all! the only problem i've got with my recently acquired mk3 (1987 turbo103 k) from my mom is on startup when warm the vehicle sometimes sputters almost stalling out. while this is happening the check engine light blinks as well. if i just give it a little gas to like 1500rpm and let it idle down it's ok. i'm guessing coil pack, but not sure. any help is appreciated, thanks!

Could be anything.
You need to pull the codes.
And you need to purchase a tsrm.

no tsrm jump E1 and T in the diognostics plug and start the car it will blink the codes to you just like any other import. it will blink then pause you need to count the # of blinks before the pause. it will go from small to large #'s if it goes from large to small it will be a double digit #. look in your chiltons for the key for the check engine or online

no affence supramacist... im just cheap or broke which ever you prefer and those are like $300 not worth it to me
