Im a new member to this forum and im looking for an Mkiii or MkIV for cheap.

The body can be in any condition as long as the frame is not bent. It does not need engine or trans but a 6 spd trans would be nice.

If 6 spd is a must...., you won't find an mkIII.
Unless it's been swapped. And mkiv's aren't cheap.
You need to look at salvage yards if you have'nt yet.

Mkiii's don't come with a 6 spd? My freind has one that has one it... it could be a swap.

Yeah, i know MkIV's aren't cheap and i have been checking out some salvage yards near me, but to no avail. I was hoping someone could point me towards a yard that would have Supra's in it near the tristate area.

I'm not sure anyone would speak of it.

I can't find anything in a salvage myself. I look every now and again.
There just aren't any around me.

there is a yard out by me that keeps the sups around for a few years until they are picked clean then they crush them, u pull the shit yourself most of the time. if you want it cheap sometimes the price is right and sometimes they try to screw you. walked out of many heated deals with the owner and other times he treated me right. haven't been there for a while though.

oh yeah they specialize in imports.

It's got a non-turbo 7M and automatic trans. 149454 miles. Dark purplish, with red hood and hatch. The engine is there, but in pieces. I bought it this way,... just don't feel like putting it back together. It's got almost all of the parts except for the water pump pulley,... just the pulley. Let me know if you're interested.
