can someone please tell me what my oil pressure should be at?
when im driving, its under 40psi, usually around 20, and when im at a light, its even lower. im using 10w-30 valvoline syntec. is this normal, or do i need something, like oil pump or thicker oil? one thing ive noticed is that the dipstick likes to pop out, could that be it?

My oil pressure is 40 driving and 20 at idle. Hope that helps!

my pressure is around 30 at an idle and almost 80 at 6000rpm's. i reshimed a factory oil pump to increase pressure to hold up to my abuse (two cranks in around 6000mls). i'm also using moble one 15-50 full synthedic, and i have 3000 on the new crank.

p.s. mine is also nonturbo
