I've been talking with D2 about making some MK3 coilovers and they have finally agreed. I just need 3 people to step up (and one person to donate their stock suspension). These will retail for $1250, but if you get in now your cost will be $899!

http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/Images/Products/D2/Coilovers_RS.jpgFeatures:

* 36-way adjustable dampening (rebound and compression)
* Made from high quality 6061 Aluminum with T6 for increased hardness
* Compression/Rebound adjustable
* Adjustable spring perch for height adjustment
* Adjustable body allowing maximum suspension travel
* Pillow Ball Top Mounts
* Monotube High Pressure Design
* Electroplated body for protection from corrosion and rust
* You can specify spring rates upon ordering

The downside is that these will take ~6 weeks from the time I get the last payment in, so don't plan any races around these quite yet.

I am interested. but I cant don it before 2 weeks, also, any ideas how the setup would be for a Daily driver?

You can specify spring rates so if you'll be doing mostly street driving let me know and we can set you up with something comparable to the Tein flex

Thanks for getting this going for us

I wont be able to get in on this for a long time, not until I pay off my debts; but at least I'll know what they're by then! :)

Yes, but you'd be without them for the time being ;)

well shoot, let's get it on then. i'll shoot you an IM sometime about it. my stockers are out, since i'm running eibach+konis at the current moment. the only stuff i don't have from stock suspension are the pillowball mounts.

The group buy has met the minimum so its officially a "go." Now is the time for people to jump in and take advantage of the introductory/group buy price

shit, i wish i had seen this sooner!!!! ive got 2 cars that i could have pulled the suspension off of to ship out to you guys! dammit.

whats the compatibility of other coil springs? are these pretty much the same size, ID/OD as other common springs?

btw, i would say that going 25%- 35% stiffer than stock spring rates would be a noticable increase but still maintain good streetablity and not knock out your fillings.
