has anyone had a shift kit put in the automatic(w58) tranny and is it worth it plus a rebuild

I'm sorry. But I am wondering why you would put a shift kit into an automatic?? Most of these short throw shifters are junk. You get what you pay for. If you find a deal that is too good to be true, then you should run with that emotion and avoid discomfort.

a shift kit in an automatic wht just improve shifting time its my daily driver and i jusyt want a quick one and my tranny is about to go anyway

You mean like a hurst shifter.

I automatically think manual transmission.

You can put a shift kit on an automatic tranny? Hurst shifter looks good but what is the purpose of the lever is that a clutch?
