alright, there is a little light on in my dash. (its orange and has a little car with little lines near the brake lights)
im assuming its telling me there is a exterior light out somewhere.
ive replaced all my rear bulbs, brakes, turn signals, reverse lights.
my headlights work fine, my front blinkers work fine, parking lights are fine.

i was wondering, if this light sensor would come on if my foglights arent installed,
i bought the car without the foglights installed and the light was on then.
but i was installing new cleaner foglights and broke off 2 screws in the metal bracket. so i have to drill those out =/

but yeah my question is...would the light be on if foglights arent hooked up?

If that's the case. You can plug them in and it should go off.
Check your fuses.

There may be a fault with a connection inside the lamp failure module itself. Pull the module, disassemble it and inspect the circuit for any visibly loose or burned connections. If everything looks fine then go through and resolder every connection on the board.

****, i think cre is right.

foglights are installed and work now.

but the lame light failure light is still on....

where is the "light failure sensor/module"?

its behind the brake lights right?

Small yellow or white box which will be mounted right under one of the tail light fixture.
