GTE cams do wonders for n/a's.

not quite. there was that myth that the N/A cams do wonders in GTE motors. but the fact of the matter is that they have less lift, but more duration. anything sub-400 hp it's not a bad upgrade, but it'll really stifle your motor in the upper rpm, and kindof change the powerband a bit. (not worth the trouble, IMO)

GTE cams in an N/A- i've actually never heard of anyone doing that, but i can't imagine that the more lift, less duration does anything for scavanging in an N/A. (which leads me to believe that GTE cams wouldn't be so good in an N/A)

I think you're right Shaeff. I had it backwards.
My bad man.

All I can really say is there is a reason that it hasn't been done.

I hear you can upgrade the cams with a larger lope, kind of like stroker cams.

I just don't know how reliable it is and again it's not something I hear alot of.
