I have an 87 N/A w/ABS and my tranny wont shift right. Somebody told me that it isnt the right one that goes in my car. 340le is what they told me i need. and i believe i have a 341le in it now. any ideas on whats what ?

What do you mean it won't shift right? Is it too harsh, too soft, at the wrong time, etc?

it shifts very slow between gears, like it doesnt know how to shift. It's shifts around 3grand from 1st to 2nd, then right to 3rd gear, and its really long untill it goes to O/D. I found out that the speedometer is not right either. Any sugg. or ideas ?

Very interesting. What did the transmission come out of? The speedometer being off indicates that the speedometer gearing is incorrect for a A70 chassis, which may be the root of the shifting problems.

They, being the warehouse in NC i baught it from , told me it was out of a 87 na supra like mine BUT it is JDM. i swapped the sensors to USDM and it started shifting better. But it still isnt right.

i got one for you how about ypou try these thing i bet they will work out for you and if they dont you need new tranny

filter is gumed up or vavle body
low on fuild
you have leak in your tranny
or kick down leaver has to be ajsuted

if none fix it

try tranny fix in bottel this will be temp fix tell you buy new tranny

the filter is new and so is the vavle body. no leaks that i can see around it. all the sensors and elcetronics that i can test is working right. i think im just gonna get a new tranny.

The A341 goes in the LS series. The gearing is different.

Yes, dump it. First gear is 2.5:1 or something really stupid like that.
