I am currently in the process of trimming my wiring harness, and I would really like to get rid of the ebrake sensor. It is the only part of a certain harness branch that I have left, and it would be much cleaner if I could remove it. There are 2 brown wires (With single silver dots) going to a ground and there is a 1 black (With white iirc) going to the ebrake sensor. Can I just remove these all together, or do I NEED to have the ground somewhere on the chasis. I don't mind getting rid of the BRAKE light on the dash, it can simply be unscrewed since it's not a vital light, but I'm unsure if I can just cut the ebrake sensor wire and the 2 ground wires.
Thanks

I haven't gutted quite that far, but I generally disconnect and test before completely removing -- that way you can always reinstall if there is an unforseen issue...

I'm with Jeff, give it a shot with everything unplugged and see how it turns out.
Grounds are a pain in the ass somtimes

I was too busy today getting messy fixing a coolant leak. Maybe I'll try this tomorrow.

Well there's only 1 wire. There are 2 ground wires and the switch. I removed them today and everything is fine, BRAKE light stays on though. Which wires do I twist to get the light off? All 3?
