Revolution 10-22-2006, 04:13 PM Hopefully Jason well chime in here. I was told by AEM tech that I could run two injectors off one driver in parallel using the AEM, and the AEM Injector driver box. Can this be done? Well this slow the injector down or have any other side effects to tuning the engine in a staged injector application? quick108 10-24-2006, 10:50 AM Wiring 2 high impedance injectors (~12ohms) in parallel, will effectively change the injector resistance to 6ohms. Peak and Hold drivers trigger above 1.5amps so you're good there. V = I x R 12 = I x 6 I = 2 Amps Injector response is not effected. There is no downside here except both injectors will be firing at the same time. So theoretically, there will be air pockets in the combustion chamber if you are soley relying on these injectors and not the primaries at WOT. You need to be under 4 ohm for it to work properly... Then it depends on which injector driver you get, the first year and half of them were ALL built wrong, they had a capacitor that would keep the injector on to a minimum of 1.6ms, and that is when it's under 4 ohm..higher impedance were even worse, holding as much as 2.3ms. They fixed the problem, but due to poor quality control...several other batches were made since the fix, that weren't "fixed". So it's a complete crap shoot! Also, if you currently have one, they have been warrantied when a customer complains, but it's not a recalled item. Jason.
