I ran this weekend for the last track day of the season and made some good passes. I got close to 8's but it just wasn't meant to be. My tires are all used up, and I think new slicks would have got me the number. Oh well....give me something to shoot for next year. Overall I'm very happy with how the car ran all year. Not bad on stock block and head!!

I used TT pistons that I got on ebay for $36 and TT head gasket and ARP head studs. Most GE users go the thicker head gasket route, but I needed to hone it etc anyway. The pistons were too good to pass up.

hey do what you gotta do. that sounds like a great budget build on a ge motor. if i go the sc300 route imma definately give that a try.

It's better than going with thicker headgasket. The squish is better with the tt pistons for obvious reasons.
