Shouldn't this section be called "america's lacky?"

LoL, congratulations. You managed to destroy any respect for this forum on the first post . Although since I am assuming your joking and merely attempting to get a rise out of someone... I will not be the one to start the flaming of the US. Hell it's getting enough sh!t from the rest of the world without me even having to say anything.

Way to take that joke.

This is bs. Why is Canada just thrown in a section with everything else that isn't the mighty USA!? Last I checked it ahd enough problems like floods and conflicts abroad for minimal gains. I say canada deserves it's own section darn it!
I'm done :so:

The Canadian sections never really get that much traffic, maybe that's why it is not its own forum.

You think you could fill two sections (East/West) or just one for now?

Loki89t

I think just one would be fine.

Somethings that Canada gave the U.S. - Michael J. Fox, Pam Anderson, Wayne Gretzky, Alex Trebek, Bryan Adams, Jim Carrey, Peter Jennings, maple syrup, the game of hockey (which Canadians seems to dominate), Martin St.Louis, Vinny Lecavalier, Brad Richards and the Stanley Cup, the game of basketball thanks to P. Naismith along with Steve Nash and an NBA championship. :eusa_hand

In return we got friendly fire, a ban on healthy cattle, and Martha Stewart for a pumpkin race. :woowoo:

USA - The only country that can take French toast, Canadian back bacon, and an English muffin and call it the All American Breakfast. Whatever.

With a healthy Sundin, Big E and Eddie I have to agree. They will be a force in the cup race. They have some underdeveloped younger players that can play, and they are due.

Kings and the L.A. Daily News and had the L.A. Forum built), Joseph Armand Bombardier(inventor of the SkiDoo), Robert Campeau(former owner of Bloomingdales), Mary Pickford(nicknamed America's sweetheart),Jay Silverheels(Tonto on the LoneRanger), Dan Adroyd, John Candy, Jim Carrey, Tommie Chong(Cheech & Chong), Fay Wray(KingKong), Matt Frewer(Max Headroom), Jennifer Tilly, Meg Tilly, Paul Shaffer, Martin Short, Keanu Reeves, Donald Sutherland, Colin Mochrie, Paul Gross, Art Linkletter, Monty Hall(Let's Make a Deal), Alex Trebek(Jeopardy), Doug Henning(magician),Rick Moranis, Mike Myers, Matthew Perry, Keifer Sutherland, Howie Mandel, Dave Thomas, Alan Thicke, Leslie Nielson, Nicholas Lea, Rich Little, Thomas Cavanaugh, Raymond Burr, David James Elliot(JAG), William Shatner, James Doohan(StarTrek), Johnny Wayne & Frank Shuster (Wayne & Shuster), Graham Greene, Joshua Jackson, Dave Foley, Lorne Greene(Ben Cartwright), Christopher Plummer, Jason Priestly, Norm MacDonald, Elizabeth Arden(first cosmetics guru before Mary Kay Ash), Alexander Graham Bell(invented the telephone), Jacques Villeneuve, Gilles Vinneneuve, Scott Goodyear, Paul Tracy, Greg Moore, Bronko Nagurski(Pro Football Hall of Famer), Fergie Jenkins(MLB Hall of Fame pitcher), Donovan Bailey(Olympic Gold Medalist and formerly World's fastest man), Terry Fox, Rick Hansen, Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby, Gordie Howe, Bobby Orr, Patrick Roy, Martin Brodeur, Chris Pronger, Steve Yzerman, Brendan Shanahan, Owen Hart, Bret Hitman Hart, Jimmy Hart, Jim the Anvil Niedhart, Kim Mitchell, David Foster, Jeff Healy, Joni Mitchell, the Tragically Hip, B.T.O., Rough Trade, Loverboy, Honeymoon Suite, Blue Rodeo, Barenaked Ladies, the Guess Who, Great Big Sea, RUSH, Men Without Hats, Steppenwolf and Bob & Doug MacKenzie(the Great White North) - that's just the beginning . Not bad for 6 Canucks brainstorming for 25 minutes over a 2 four of Molson Canadian and a 12 of Labatt's Blue(two Canadian beers popular with American drinkers who visit Canada) eh Canada. :snork_tan

You know I read an article in the Globe and Mail today where the author wasted an entire page writing about how if Canada begins to favor China for trade it will be disagreeing with NAFTA regulations and will give the US a good valid reason to invade. The whole problem with softwood lumber was that the US ignored a NAFTA decision. Now this guy means to tell me that if Canada attempts a similar course of action with China we will officially deserve to be invaded?

I love the philosophy that everything is OK as long as it is the US that is doing it.

Funny. Both nations have the same problem. Lead by sons who are even more like politicians than their old men. Both Paul Jr. and George Jr. have shown that they lie like rugs, will do anything to get elected, seem to drag their heels when quick response would be the prudent action and have conned the majority of North Americans into voting for them. Amazing. If anything the people should revolt against the MAN and not fight each other. :help:

OH yeah, I was in no way saying we are any better up here. However, our stupid ass politicians don't have enough power to do any lasting damage to anyone else.

I assume by anyone else you mean anyone other than the majority of Canadians. :help: And props to the Victoria B.C. dive team who were the first on the scene (after the reporters and camera crews that is) after Hurricane Katrina to attempt to save lives and bring food, water and assistance to the people of New Orleans.

Yeah, all the shit talking is just us upset that every car part costs about twice as much up here. Woot, gay government woot.

However, who knows. If we become really good trading partners with China maybe we'll start trading with japan more seriously. Yep I predict the 5th gen supra will cost less in Canada then in the states. :snork_tan

we used to think that as well over here but politicians will always find a way. it's in their nature and you have to let them get on with it because it's not like they could hold down a proper job like us now is it? sorry to hear you also get the friendly fire treatment as well, i thought it was just us.

Think its pointing out how lucky the US is to be attached to Canada; just like southtern England is lucky to be attached to Wales. Afterall, its a known fact that eastern England is slipping into the sea, while Wales is actually rising; so given enough time Wales WILL be larger than England. And we don't have a hosepipe ban. :middlefin :crazy01:
Is that the same with Canada, and like the US they have a queen in charge :crazy01:
