i currently run one of these on a daily basis and after 6 months i am used to it and was wondering what mods you would recomend to bring it up to around 350 rwhp?
i intend on getting another for shows and weekend and giving that one a lot more horsepower again (500 minimum)
what would be the most practical mods to do to my everyday runabout one and roughly how much does it cost. the exchange rate between the dollar and sterling at the moment is very favorable from the point of view of buying bits from america.

i buy supra's, i wouldn't be able to sell a supra. it's not in my nature! supras are for life and not just for christmas. import one, that's what everyone is doing over here. if you want low milage and no rust you don't have a choice.
i don't blame you for calling it your dream car, i cannot imagine living without it now and one is not enough, she must have a mate!

i know, the twin turbo manual R is in my unbiased opinion the absolute zenith of the mk3's. but could still be faster!

if any officers of the law are reading this i would like to say 2 things
1. i have never broken any speed limits or any traffic bylaws. the thought of driving a heavy old car at high speeds makes me shudder!
2. i don't know this deranged fool called spanner rash and he sounds like a serial law breaker who should be watched.
BTW batmans is a pussy and wouldn't keep up with me even if he used a kevlar battow rope!

Mines a 1jz Limited and its got loads of luxury gear on it.
Well enough for me.
This short stroke engine is a high reving powerfull bugger, and theres always room for improvement. I dont like pissing about too much but the first thing ive done is the zorst.
3" side exit, like the Turbo A race car. I copied the design fom a picture i found on the web.Nearly finnished that and going for a twin air filter set up. And maybe blocking the heat from the engine bay too the filters.
Its an auto but im not really bothered about that.
Im just going to check out how it handles on different road surfaces before i do any more work on her.
Happy with it so far, but still like my 3litre Turbo manual. Which takes some beating at the moment.

do you still have cats on, i've been talking to aussies and they say take 'em off (as opposed to someone me and you know quite well)Theres no cats on mine mate.
The original 2 1/2" down pipe is on then 6" silencer then 3" the rest.
I noticed a heat sensor after the cat pipe area. Thats still intact.
No idea what it does though.
They recon you blow the Turbo seals when you remove the cats.
But i have never seen or read the proof in that theory.
Why? is yours still catified like!:snork_lac
Yes i know who said that.:aiwebs_00 :aiwebs_01

well i think i will remove them as soon as my dad has bought a new car and there is one availably to borrow for a few weeks if it does fcuk up the turbo's. best to be safe but the aussies say it won't harm it either.
