Hey Chris,

Ugh, sorry to hear man. 13 studs? :-/ I've come across this a couple of times over the past couple of weeks where sets have been shipped incomplete from ARP :( I've spoken with ARP in regards to the missing contents and they've told me they'd prefer to deal with this directly instead of through several hands. You can contact ARP directly on their toll free line at 800-826-3045. Let them know you received an incomplete set of studs and they'll forward you to the correct department to have it addressed right away.

Let me know if there's anything additional I can help with. Hope you had a nice weekend!

Josh.

Hey Josh, i just talked to a customer service rep. they said to send back the kit and just have it rotated out for a complete one... but i think itd be easier to just open up a new kit, pull one out for me and send back the now-incomplete kit as D&D in place of mine. that way, the only thing that EITHER of us has to send out is One bolt, not me send you a kit then you send me back a kit, then you send the defective kit back out ARP. besides, i had already lubed the bolts and started to run them down when i looked in the box and didnt have the last bolt...

he also said there was a discrepancy, cuz the PN on the box is for Studs but i have bolts in side. thats why he said just to send them back. but, like i said... id rather just have the One BOLT so i can torque this head down and get the car out. ill pay for the 1 bolt and the shipping, thats not a problem. im not mad or anything cuz i know how many transactions you guys do, plus all my bolts were on back order for a full month adding to the confusion, so i can see how something could go wrong. i dont wanna get anyone in trouble cuz you guys have been so good to me and my friends. is there any way you can help me get the 1 head bolt i need?

thanks
chris

Chris,

Thanks again for your patience and understanding. Do you have any way to send pictures over to me? If you have bolts in the kit instead of studs, then it sounds like the contents of the kit are incorrect, as ARP doesn't offer a kit for the mk3 with head bolts. If I can provide them with a picture and can confirm that you received the correct contents, just short a stud/bolt then there shouldn't be a problem getting 1 piece to you. It sounds like ARP believed the kit was assembled incorrectly. The last case I had with a missing part, ARP shipped out the individual item right away. I'm in the office from 7-4p PST Mon-Fri. If you could give me a call when you get a second so we can cover the details, that'd be great. Also, if you have access to a camera and can take a picture, you can send that to my email at josh@horsepowerfreaks.com.

Thanks again,
Josh.

i sent you pics to your email. ive only got a 1mb camera, hopefully you can make out the details. i think i have the contents of ARP PN 203-3902 in the box for ARP PN 203-4701. i didnt really pay attention to whats Supposed to be in there cuz i ordered them so long ago. i figured i had ordered bolts. lol... but im just one short.

Hmm, very interesting sir. :) I've started the chain, so lets see how far my pull gets us. I'll keep you posted, but of course my fear is that those bolts aren't for the 7mGTE, but I'll see what they'll do for me!
