: Blow-off valve
87 Sleeper 03-31-2006, 03:57 PM Ive been looking for a bov for my 87 supra turbo, I was at HPF website and noticed that a mazda protoge bov is very similar to oem bov for my supra, and that it can handle 14psi & its only $117 iam thinking of trying this, am i crazy or will this work? it looks like it will swap right in.
What bov, boost-controller combo's do you run? any suggestions, questions or comments would be welcome, thanks.

87 Sleeper 03-31-2006, 05:28 PM come on, are you posting just to get your #s up.
87 Sleeper 03-31-2006, 06:04 PM Its ok you'll get that turbo someday :snork_tro
supramacist 03-31-2006, 11:10 PM I don't want a turbo........., not for this Supra. If ever you had been in the military, I am sure you would have understood the crickets, crickets, thing. I'm not even worried about my count. Dizahl kind of challenged me at first a lil bit. But that was then and this is now.
87 Sleeper 04-01-2006, 07:12 PM : No, your right I never served, almost did when i was 18, wanted to fly helicopters, missed it by 2-4 points cant remember.
They wanted to put me in as a tank driver, should have done it, would have been cool. :respekt: i do appreciate the service you provided our country.
supramacist 04-01-2006, 11:37 PM Thank you.

dizahl 04-03-2006, 08:35 PM If i still had that gaggle of buddies I wouldn't be struggling with this car of mine .
call in the reserves.
dizahl 04-03-2006, 08:36 PM i have a hks ssqv bov and i love it, you can sometimes pick them up used from japan for cheap i think i gave 175 for mine.
87 Sleeper 04-03-2006, 09:16 PM I think i want to stick with a recirculating system, do you vta or recirc?
dizahl 04-03-2006, 09:25 PM vent it and it sounds fricken sweet
supramacist 04-04-2006, 08:15 AM be thinking of an extremely inexpensive way for my na to have a true dual exhaust,,,,, I'm asking the two of you. please. even if I have to go with glass packs inexpensive.
87 Sleeper 04-04-2006, 08:48 PM split the manifold or run duals off the stock 6 into 1 manifold or after the cat.
dizahl 04-04-2006, 10:05 PM do you have to pass emmisions?
supramacist 04-05-2006, 08:12 AM no..... but I want to be able to...., damn they're lible to start checking before they'll let you drive into cali. Wouldn't you like to have a shop at the borderline. I f ucking wood and I mean wood.
87 Sleeper 04-05-2006, 08:44 AM They do check dont they? i heard it was real hard-ass out in cali with inspections. i guess cant stop everyone, yet.
supramacist 04-05-2006, 08:55 AM Ya they check........, but they let you in first. I had a 95 nissan x cab/ xev6 1700lbs. 175 stock hp. They gig you 50$ to even put it on the ramp. This was in 2000. So if you have a newer vehicle emissions are not a problem.
87 Sleeper 04-05-2006, 10:01 AM pretty soon youll need a elec car to get in
dizahl 04-05-2006, 09:10 PM they don't check where i live but st. louis is talking about only checking 96 and newer cars.
supramacist 04-06-2006, 02:56 PM St Louis does have a smog problem. basically they are going to try to draw revenue under the guise of the atmosphere.
