it's the lexus is200 or is 400 i forget which in my drunken state. but to go with the afm as we call them (maf) u will need a walbro 255 fuel pump and a set of 550cc injector's plus a safc to keep thing's runnin well.

so let's say a 32 valve v8 and obviously drive train wether they are lexus or toyota, obviously it will need an upgraded clutch. these things can be done to your supra.

I had a corrola GTS FX-16 and it had the same engine as a mr2, it ran hard but for real power it needed a turbo kit and a good clutch, stock they only put out 95-100hp the nice thing about them is it would pull till 8k RPM, then the rev limiter would shut it down, mine got up to 122mph a couple times and still had 1,500rpm left, needed a bigger hill or the turbo, bought with 67k on it and put 70k of the hardest miles you could imagine and it still ran good, but the clutch and second gear and the cv joints were hashed

thanks for the info, afm (air flow meter) what is a safc? and what kind of power gains could i expect from the upgrade, is it worth the expense or should i just buy a used stock unit for $100? :help: ill have to pass it through congress and want to make sure its worth it. :tweetz:

I had one of those Nissan Pulsar this was back in 92, the car was an 89 model. Twin cam 16 valve 4 cyl. I had a strip that came off of an over pass out of a clover leaf turn..., then a hard right curve that went up hill..., straigh line up hill probably 5o degrees. then crest and speed trap. I hit 130 every time even going up that hill and still had pull. It was a hot little 4 cyl. I would buy another one if I could find the right one.

100$ stock unit. make sure it has atleast a 30 day warranty. If that solves the problem and it lasts a year. spend the big bucks next time.

lol it's my mate's v8 i have a 7m in mine a safc is the apexi super air fuel controler there about $150 on ebay at the moment u will need it to stop the damn thing under fueling and going bang oh u will also need a fuel pressure regulator.

if u did all that u could run 16psi of boost i think it pushes the bhp over 300 mine's there all ready due to internal engine work with pistion's and con's and stuff plus a stage 3 turbo tech's hybrid turbo.

It's just a subjectional topic. Would it be bad ass or would it be a diss to the supra. Supra on top and lexus underneath.

i cant remember for sure but i think i gave 400 bucks for the spec stage 2 for the turbo, it was was the least expensive kevlar i found, i think you can get the stage 3 for $500, go to HPF website they'll hook you up.
