I don't know if this thread is a sticky or not but, if I'm not souppose to post here a mod can delete this. But this is for those who just want to try ttc really quick without going through all the trouble.

Courtsy of Andrew Petrie

Takes about 5 mins and no tools or other things required.

Yea, thats what it basically do. It makes both of the turbos run in parallel so they both spool at the sametime thus makeing it like a single. If you wanna try it just follow the 5 min ttc mod see if you like it. Now where is my :tweetz: and :sheep: .

It gives you the lag of a single, without the power increase. Worst of both worlds IMHO. Here is a dyno of a MKIV with TTC vs. the same car in sequential. You can see that TTC gives up ALL of the low end, in exchange for a tiny increase in midrange and peak power.

mmm...thats helpful...thanks ken, there is a difference but its not that significant, though i would still stick with the twin sequential...rather than teh ttc....

dyno sheets on seq. setups look really shady at the turbo transistion around 4k or whatever it is... but whos below 4k during a race or when it matters, anyway. =]

jermy blackwell from speed for sale .com sells a electric ttc conversion kit so you can change back and forth from ttc to regular pretty cool for the guys that still have good functioning turbo systems.

electronic ttc? how does that work? will it engage both stock turbos at the same time? that doesnt seem to make sense since the stock turbos were meant to be sequential

it works like the article in mkiv.com when they do the electrical but they say not to do it if you dont know anything about the electicale system well jermy which i dont know but have talked to him before about a car he was selling but he has made a swich so all you have to do is plug it in to a coulple of wire on the ecu. How it works is it uses the wires that its hooked up to to open the actuators on the turbos and then close them when it isnt in ttc mode hope that helps it sould be on his web site. if i didnt have mine already wire open and my other parts in the turbo system were working proberly i would do this .
