Hi folks, these are the last things I have for sale (and will ever have for sale).

7M-GTE TURBO OIL PUMP-----$55
This can also be partially an informative write up on oil pumps.
Many folks don't really know how these work or what is the difference between a good one and a bad one.
Oil pumps are just like crank shafts, cam shafts, pistons, or even brake pads in the sense that their condition can be measured by whether they show signs, or the degree of wear (such as with brake pads).
Once you know the individual parts within the oil pump and how they function within the unit, you will then have the aptitude needed in gauging the unit's condition.

In addition to what the TSRM states in terms of how to inspect an oil pump, I will also one add additional measure as well (specifically inspecting the shaft journals and their 'bearing' mating surface).

TSRM Specs
Lubrication Systems - Oil Pump - Page LU-10
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=LU&Page=10

1) Relief valve falls smoothly with no excessive play
2) Body Clearance is at 0.004" (which is at ideal clearance)
3) Gear Backlash is at 0.019" (which is also at ideal clearance)
4) Side Clearance is at 0.002 (which is also at ideal clearance)
*Additionally*
I have also inspected the oil pump shaft.
As the blown up picture shows, it is very smooth and shows no signs of wear.
It spins very smoothly and freely in its housing with no detectable radial play felt (that is also how factory connecting rods should be with their wristpins).
Cleaned, inpected, and passed with an A+

^ Thanks Greg! heheh You're also a great buyer too! Now buy more stuff! heheh

Just bumping this thread since it has not been active in a while.
I am still here.

The thread has been updated with changes and sold items removed:)

EDIT - I can't forget to thank my host that I use for every sale everywhere!

I also want to thank and give props to http://photobucket.com for making this possible.
Without a host like them, I would not have been able to have 4 sychronized threads, which makes it so much easier to update.
