: Finally some pics of my Supra
SP 7M 02-14-2006, 01:00 AM These were taken this past weekend. They're not the greatest pics and my Supra was dirty, but they're something to look at. I apologize for not having any engine bay pics. That area is embarassing to me in its present state.
I don't know exactly how to get these to show up on the screen, so here is the link to them. I included a few pics of my dad's Supra that I took in early January. His is an '89 turbo 5 sp. with 217-ish K.

*Bonus* If you want to see how damn good I look inside my Supra then check me out at www.myspace.com/livingmonstrosity . I know, MySpace is kind of gay but my coolness more than makes up for it. Keep in mind that I'm a very sarcastic person.
Later fellas,
Craig
SP 7M 02-14-2006, 02:40 AM By the way, those SP Eng. sticker were put on over a year ago and are soon to be removed. I roll with HPF exclusively now.

There is no way to make up for the gayness that is Myspace, car is looking hot! :snork_ham
SP 7M 02-16-2006, 01:44 AM My hotness more than makes up for it, Brayden. I do agree that there is much gayness to it, but I've found more bands on there to check out. I'm not a MySpace slut. If you haven't yet you know you want to check me out.
Loki89t 02-16-2006, 01:01 PM If you haven't yet you know you want to check me out.
Been there done that
SP 7M 02-16-2006, 01:15 PM That's f*ckin' right.
Nick M 02-17-2006, 02:37 AM I like the white package cars. Clean that engine bay.
Daledoe 02-17-2006, 09:47 AM Nice rims :D
SP 7M 02-20-2006, 03:08 AM Thank you for the kind words, gentlemen.
supramacist 03-21-2006, 04:48 PM damn sp I stumbled upon this thread nice ride dude, makes me see how far I am from where I need to be.
HOTSUP 03-21-2006, 08:51 PM Nice pics of your sweet ride dude. I wasn't really sure how white went with dark wheels but now I don't mind that combination, looks pretty good. Is that your house in the background?
supramacist 03-21-2006, 10:28 PM where have you been hotsup?? you went away for a few weeks.
HOTSUP 03-21-2006, 10:48 PM Really nice to know you missed me, buddy. Yeh been couple of weeks. Dunno just didn't post anything for that time & also with the commonwealth games & stuff on.
Thanks anyway.
supramacist 03-21-2006, 10:49 PM get back on that horse and ride it son.
HOTSUP 03-21-2006, 10:51 PM Absolutely!! All the way with MA(70). At the moment 320 horses to ride.
Leaving work now. I'll log on again at home.
supramacist 03-21-2006, 10:58 PM I"ll probably be around a bit longer.
HOTSUP 03-22-2006, 12:38 AM Absolutely!! All the way with MA(70). At the moment 320 horses to ride.
Leaving work now. I'll log on again at home.
I also do spend a fair amount of time on supraforums.com.au, of course.
supramacist 03-22-2006, 08:20 AM oh man since your leaving my cars main rear seal is leaking onto the clutch and hasn't been driven in a few weeks. I'm waiting for a check from a graphic design job to come in so I can get the parts.
SP 7M 03-27-2006, 01:56 AM I had no idea there was any action on this thread since February.
HOTSUP-Dark rims certainly do go well with white but I'll be getting it painted black hopefully late this year or early next year. That's my apartment building behind my car, btw.
Supramacist-I'm not where you need to be, trust me. My Supra has a lot of work that needs to be done to it. Oh well, it is a never-ending process. I enjoy most of the process but right now it's just plain irritating.
supramacist 03-27-2006, 02:05 AM Look man. There are alot of these cars out there for some reason that were taken care of really well. I read some shite a while back that said the M series engine in the cressida and the supra was the foundation that got them some shit here and a tirdlet there. But let's face it...., Lots of design flaws in these cars. I"m thinking about getting a sharp maxima and grinding it out. When you went through boot were you a digibitch or did you have the old school cammies???
SP 7M 03-27-2006, 12:58 PM You getting a new Maxima, Supramacist?
Old style cammies. I've been in for 4 1/2 years, remember?
I'll stick with my beloved MKIII.
supramacist 03-27-2006, 01:14 PM I thought 3 and 1/2 was your tour. I have always had a love affair with the maxima. I like the old 91's they were 190 hp back then. I had ours up to 150 in Bobby Hopper Tunnel. Startled an oncoming semi, I thought he might swing his arse into my side. It was two lane, one direction. And those cars have just been getting stronger. I really wanted the 97 /98 model really really red, wood grain bose sound black leather, sun roof. I have always loved the max, for sure.
SP 7M 03-27-2006, 05:32 PM I'm on a 5 year contract because of all the schooling I needed.
supramacist 03-27-2006, 05:56 PM how old are you? That schooling is going to be what gets you a job out here when you get out. The knowledge is what gives you options out here. Your'e not the you that you were last time you were out here when you get back.
SP 7M 03-28-2006, 03:13 PM I'm 23 and often get told I look more like 18 or 19. I look that good! lol
supramacist 03-28-2006, 04:40 PM Roll that shit man....., all the way into your 30's. Time start creepi'n up early 30's. you'll see.
SP 7M 03-29-2006, 12:11 AM I have every intention of trying to keep myself as good-looking as possible for as long as possible. I know that time doesn't move slowly and that I'll be "old" before I know it. Shit, I can't even believe that I'm 23 and that I'll be 24 in October.
Getting out of the military will be a great early birthday present for me!
I don't think that many, if any of you guys knew that my Supra was in the dealer, but I figured I'd let you all know the good news. I picked it up today after the ISC valve was changed (dealer-diagnosed so I let them fix it and make sure that was it) and it has not idled so well for such a long time. I really can't remember when it has ran as good as it is right now. There is no hesitation, stumbling, bucking or anything of the sort under normal driving or with [relatively low] boost. I am absolutely ecstatic about it and I've been talking about it to a couple of my co-workers quite a bit.
The Toyota tech also recommended that I change the blow by (valve?) and said that it should make my Supra run even better. I'll have to talk to the parts guy that I always go through at the Toy parts [only] dealer out here and see when I can get ahold of one.
Retail on the ISC valve was $554 and $3 for the gasket and I got both for $493 including tax. I only ended up paying $200 for the work at the dealer which came as a huge surprise to me. I was realistically expecting more like $300-$400, so I'm sure you guys can understand how pleased I was. I'm going to call the service rep back and tell him how much I appreciate his effort and coordination with the tech to get my problem(s) properly diagnosed and fixed. He even gave me a chance to come in to talk to the tech directly and let me point out the specific issues that I was concerned with. I know that dealers don't like working on modified vehicles because the techs aren't taught anything in school about aftermarket parts. I consider what this particular tech and service rep did to be above what is expected of them.
Now I can go out this weekend for a nice drive (as nice as it can be on a tiny Hawaiian island) and blow off some steam. :D
Nick 95 6sp 03-29-2006, 09:11 AM hahaaa... you guys crack me up talkin' about getting old. I case you weren't aware, I'm 56yo ...as in born in 1949... I enjoyed looking younger than my age even to this day, most people say I look at least 10 years younger than I am for whatever that's worth, like $0.02 ; I was carded at bars even in my mid 20's which sometimes was a PIA but then there's the plus sides too .... = young chicks ...that cracks me up too, young chicks to me now are like mid 30's, younger than that and they're practically babies, good looking attractive babies I might add.
SP 7M 03-29-2006, 04:10 PM Nick-I don't consider you "old," just so you know. You're just more weathered than I. ;)
supramacist 03-30-2006, 07:41 PM I"m 32........, So let's get real.
dizahl 03-30-2006, 09:04 PM Nick you're an old nutty gizzer don't let the guys lie to you, i'll shot you straight man.
dizahl 03-30-2006, 09:05 PM hell only 56, dang man your half way there
supramacist 03-31-2006, 11:42 AM Nick and I have what would seem to be....., our own thread somewhere and i think nocturnal kitty highjacked it.
87 Sleeper 03-31-2006, 06:15 PM sunset pic looks cool, im jealous, it snowed 2 weeks ago
SP 7M 04-01-2006, 01:12 AM sunset pic looks cool, im jealous, it snowed 2 weeks agoThanks man. That's my dad's (with 220K+) just in case you didn't know.
87 Sleeper 04-01-2006, 07:05 PM SP 7M, what is a ISC valve? my car has been running like crap and thought it was a dirty afm, so im curious if it might help my car, $493 is alot a money, but i guess its worth it if fix's the problem. :image:
supramacist 04-02-2006, 12:14 AM I have 500$ problems all day for you to solve, there, Daddy Warbucks.
SP 7M 04-02-2006, 04:49 PM Idle speed control valve. It has made a great bit of difference on the idle quality of my car. $493 was with HI tax and my discount that I get at the local Toy parts dealer. Retail is $554.
supramacist 04-02-2006, 07:11 PM If only you could get your shit from the motor pool.
87 Sleeper 04-02-2006, 08:52 PM where's clinger or radar when you need them?
supramacist 04-03-2006, 10:55 AM Get a turbo from a humvee hahahalol, seriously, I'm not even sure if they super charge those things, they didn't when I was in in them. They set em up like baja racers, kinda, but not really.
87 Sleeper 04-03-2006, 09:20 PM I thought they went with turbo's? you have to be able to out-run the friendly fire. (not funny)
SP 7M 04-04-2006, 12:54 AM Hummers aren't turbo-charged. NA and I have no idea why.
supramacist 04-04-2006, 07:43 AM I only ever rode in one once...., my bro was m.o.s. communication. In short...., radio operator. so he was in and out of a lot of shit that I wasn't.
87 Sleeper 04-04-2006, 08:05 PM no turbo diesel's, well i guess a big block chevy is out of the question.
SP 7M 04-05-2006, 01:12 AM Just a diesel V8. An Amercian gas V8 is out of the question for several reasons, I'm sure and I'd say that fuel economy, or lack there of, is one.
My Supra went back to the Toyota dealer today. I've got a bad TPS and I also need a new fuse box. That's exciting!
supramacist 04-05-2006, 08:06 AM Atleast you still have an awesome looking car. Your always down devil dog...., and I was as well when I was in. You'll get through it. lol It's going to get alot worse before it gets any better.
87 Sleeper 04-05-2006, 08:30 AM have you changed the headgasket yet? when you do put in ARP hardware.
supramacist 04-05-2006, 09:01 AM hey....., I know what arp hardware actually is and does. and costs!
87 Sleeper 04-05-2006, 09:52 AM i used the head-studs might have been $118 not sure, cant find the reciept. the TOGA hv oil pump was $209
SP 7M 04-05-2006, 11:06 AM Yeah, don't EVER call me devil dog. I can't ****ing stand that. It's in no way used as a respectful term but more or less a degrading one. I know you meant nothing by it, though. Now you know how I feel about it, though. :D
supramacist 04-05-2006, 12:06 PM A Marine calling another Marine..., Devil Dog. To me is a sign of Respect. I herd what you said and it won't happen again. Because I understand that as well. We straight?
SP 7M 04-05-2006, 04:38 PM We're fine dude, I'm just telling you what I've witnessed in my 4.5 years in. It's not in the least bit a sign of respect. Try calling a SNCO that if you don't know him or her...
supramacist 04-05-2006, 04:48 PM I never experienced any of that...., but I know what you mean, I can almost hear it in my head now. My old lady is fishing around wanting me to take her out to eat. I have been mess'n with this car all day. But I am sure I will do whatever it takes to make her happy.
SP 7M 04-06-2006, 12:33 AM I picked up a new TPS today and ordered a fuse box and I'm very pleased to say that I had to spend far less than what I expected. My discount really kicks serious ass.
supramacist 04-06-2006, 09:17 AM the discount was always a perk.
SP 7M 04-06-2006, 11:29 PM I really hope that I don't have to find out what my discount is on a 2JZ-GE head. I finally had my Lexus towed to the dealer today and a tech came out and looked at it right away. He said he thinks it's only the heater hose at the back of the engine. I can only hope and pray that that's it.
I'm currently driving a '06 Subaru Forester that I rented from Enterprise.
I sure hope that my fuse box comes in quickly and that my Supra gets worked on shortly there after.
supramacist 04-07-2006, 09:35 AM I figured you as a subaru outback type. I like subee's they're good cars. I have largely owned nissan in my life, well a couple of ford's. had an 89 sho 5 spd. it was a fun car to drive. A ford econoline 150. this was a cargo van that was all truck.. The engine went knocking so the shag'n wag'n had to go bye bye. had like an 89 nissan sentra. 4 cyl. 4 spd. 190k I gave it a tune up and some cheapo wal-mart tires, and sold it. this was years ago. Sometimes I think i still see it. My last ride before this supra was a 95 nissan xev6. 5spd. 175 hp. Sounds small right? but the truck weighed only 1700lbs. seriously specked right. I beat many 65 through 67 mustang that were obviously stock. nothing big just your normal average auto's.
SP 7M 04-07-2006, 05:09 PM The Forester is all that Enterprise had left, so I just consider myself lucky to have gotten the last car. They gave me a discount for renting while my car is being worked on (both of them are) and also because I asked for something below the "luxury" car selection. I'm only paying $28 a day as long as I bring in the receipt from the Toy dealer when it's done.
I'm going to look at a couple of early-90s Accords this weekend for something [hopefully] reliable to get me by until I leave this hole. I'll sell my Lexus as soon as I get a few more things taken care of so that more problems don't present themself. My Supra will be driven a couple of times a week just to keep everything freshly lubricated and to keep the A/C working. I'll send that out as soon as I can for free-at least as I see it now.
supramacist 04-07-2006, 07:48 PM I was thinking about you today sp......., And I was wondering what you thought of judas priest. I think I have been listening to them sinse I was in jr. high. Screaming for vengeance, is a tight ass'd tight albumn. THere new albumn after getting back together sounds really really good as well.
SP 7M 04-08-2006, 06:36 AM I actually jammed to some Priest on Thursday evening. Screaming for Vengeance, as a matter of fact. I really like Bloodstone from that album. Painkiller is a killer album as well, and the song Beyond the Realms of Death is really good stuff, all though it's on a different album.
Before Thursday I probably went 9 months or more without listening to them once.
supramacist 04-08-2006, 09:02 AM I have bands like that. Bloodstone has always been one of my fav's, as far as priest goes. Where do you stand on those old school speed metal bands like megadeth? Where do you stand on the entire van halen situation?? I have always felt that David Lee Roth as well as Sammy Hagar have beem two of the most influential frontmen, of my life time. I say this knowing there is a list of great singers out there. But these two guys have been slugging it out in the music industry because that's what they are...., musicians. You don't still eddie veddar do we???? not really. And, last but not least. your all time favorite guitar player would be???
87 Sleeper 04-08-2006, 11:45 AM Jimi Hendricks, :headbang: dont forget ozzy as the lead frontman in metal history.
supramacist 04-08-2006, 02:02 PM Ozzy is hard to define by todays standards. Today hard rock, back then heavy metal. And ya....., Let's not forget ozzy, for sure. Hendrix is cool. I think mine would have to be Jimmy page. If i were stranded on an island and could only have 1 cd...., as long as it was led zeppelin......., I'd make it. Matter of fact that was the first thing I did when I found my freedom, from the corp. I purchased a Cd player and led zeppelin, the bbc sessions 2 disk set. I proceeded to get lost into the music through all connecting flights home.
supramacist 04-08-2006, 02:03 PM Oh and when I go to the airport. I went straight for the bar and had a sam adams, shit, I think I had three off them and 2 redbulls.
supramacist 04-08-2006, 02:05 PM I apologize for my lack of proofreading.
SP 7M 04-08-2006, 09:06 PM I apologize for my lack of proofreading. Thanks, just try to clean it up next time. ;)
Speed and thrash is what I was primarily brought up on. Metallica's work from '83-'88 was my favorite stuff for quite some time. It's probably been close to a year since I've listened to them, though.
I also really dig Megadeth and up until Rust In Peace I really like their music. From Countdown on I'm not overly impressed by them, but their latest is pretty solid stuff. It's still not that aggressive fast thrash that I really liked in their earlier days, though.
I really like some other speed/thrash bands, namely Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies.
My favorite guitar player is Dimebag. I know that he was not the most talented or technical player but his style is purely amazing to me.
Chuck Schuldiner of Death and Control Denied is next on my list and had extreme talent-probably to the point of being considered inhuman.
Jimmy Page is somewhere in my top 10 favorite players and I'm a huge fan of Led Zeppelin's live stuff. The way that they expanded on their music, such as Jimmy using a violin bow with his guitar is some really great stuff.
All though I'm not a big fan of Van Halen, they've got some pretty good stuff, and the talent is clearly there. I like David Lee Roth better than Sammy Hagar when it comes to them.
I could talk all day about this stuff but I don't really have the time right now.
Daledoe 04-08-2006, 09:13 PM ^^^^^
Death is one of my fav. bands. I love the DVD that came with The Sound Of Perseverance :D
supramacist 04-08-2006, 09:27 PM sup...., doe. dude supramania is the shit. is all i'm say'n.
SP 7M 04-09-2006, 04:26 AM ^^^^^
Death is one of my fav. bands. I love the DVD that came with The Sound Of Perseverance :DOk, you just gained 100 cool points with me. What is your favorite album, if it's not too hard to pick one?
Mine is currently Human and the drummer on that album-Sean Reinert-is f*cking insanely fast and technical. That's the only Death album he was on and I'd like to hear some of his work with other bands that he is/was in. I like Richard Christy (Sound of Perseverance) better because I'm familiar with his work with Burning Inside and Control Denied along with his purely amazing work with Death. I only recently found out that Gene Hoglan was on Individual Thought Patterns and Symbolic. I thought it was Richard Christy for quite some time. Mr. Hoglan is a great drummer, too. I like drummers.
All of my Death CDs are burned and I had no clue that there was a DVD that came with Perseverance. I'd love to check it out some time.
Live in LA is bad ass. Have you seen it?
Daledoe 04-09-2006, 07:21 AM The DVD is called Live in cottdus. The Sound Of Perseverance is probly my fav.. Did you know there was like 50 people in that band throwout the years including this guy John hand a guitarists that didn't do aney thing live or on recored. I thought that was funny!!!
supramacist: supramania is the shit, isn't it :w00t:
SP 7M 04-09-2006, 07:49 AM I think that there were somewhere around 30 members in Death throughout the years. 29 seems to stick in my head. It's surprising to me that throughout so many lineup changes that the music still sounds as great as it does. It's some very difficult shit to play and for them all to work together with such precision is a helluva(n) accomplishment.
Daledoe 04-09-2006, 09:09 AM Ya, 30 sounds more like it. I know there was alot. I love the way the first song on The Sound Of Perseverance starts. I need to get more Death cds. I saw your avatar a little bit ago put didn't think eney thing of it. It worth going out and buying The Sound Of Perseverance just for the DVD. Thats funny for me to say because out of the 300 cd I have Like 250 of them are burned!!!!!
Daledoe 04-09-2006, 09:21 AM sup...., doe. dude supramania is the shit. is all i'm say'n.
Whats your name over there???
SP 7M 04-09-2006, 04:58 PM I have a lot of burned CDs, too and my total collection is probably 350-400. I'll have to see about picking up Perseverance.
Damn guys, you're asking for me to go grammar/spelling police on your asses. ;)
supramacist 04-09-2006, 08:36 PM i'm still the supramacist.
SP 7M 04-10-2006, 02:08 AM Are you white? Then you must be a bigot.
How heavy does your music taste get? I know you said you like Slayer, which is quite heavy, but is there anything heavier that you like?
I know that there are different kinds of heavy and I've become quite fond of the slow, down-tuned riffery that Black Sabbath originally pioneered. Bands like Acid Bath, Down, Bongzilla, Kyuss, Sleep, High On Fire, Goatsnake, Crowbar, Place of Skulls, Pentagram, The Obsessed, Saint Vitus, Eyehategod, Acid King, Warhorse and Weedeater (etc., etc.) are some great examples of that kind of heavy. This type of stuff is often considered doom/stoner/sludge rock and metal. I can't get enough of it, dude.
Then there's the more well-known kind of heavy that Slayer, Morbid Angel, Pantera, Death, Goatwhore, Soilent Green and Cannibal Corpse are known for. It's usually black, death and speed/trash metal that is considered heavy due to the [generally] fast riffs and [often] screaming, face-melting solos.
supramacist 04-10-2006, 09:41 AM ty some hatebreed and mudvayne. mudvayne ld50 is hot ssssssss. I was listening to them before they went main stream, much like slayer. I think you are a bit deeper into the metal scene than I am. I will download some of the bands you have mentioned and see if I dig on them.
SP 7M 04-10-2006, 03:30 PM I once was into Hatebreed (that name blows) and then my knowledge of music continued to expand and I realized that the vast majority of their songs were structured the same. They haven't gotten a play by me in probably 2.5-3+ years.
When I first heard Mudvayne I liked the song Dig, which was, I suppose, a "hit single" (ugh) for them. I picked up their third album when it came out and got a little enjoyment out of it for a short time and then ended up giving it away.
You are not alone, I'm much deeper into metal than 99% of the people I know. As cheesy or gay as it may sound, I'm in love with music. I can't get enough.
supramacist 04-10-2006, 04:42 PM no that's cool..., i'm the same way as far as music goes. But it was the early 90's when I was last in the metal scene. I don't listen to hatebreed much either. But dig from ld 50 turned me onto them. that black albumn is ok but the first one with the red cover is tight. It's a toss between that one and ld 50. I'm tell'n ya.......,Laaz Rockit/ know your enemy. Was a classic back in the day and is still hard to find. they aren't like death metal but some solid heavy metal wich today is only hard rock. Queensryche......., Lost and forgotten that band is. Operation mindcrime was a bomb of an albumn. I have always loved rock and roll, it was my solice, my church. there was a band out called dragpipe. I have never seen or herd of these guys again but that once. I would like to know what they sound like.
suprahero 05-18-2006, 11:49 AM HeySP, hope your time in Hawaii is going alright. Love your car and hope everything else is straightend out with your life...........lol
I like heavy metal, but not to the extent you do. My heavy metal is more like Linkin Park, Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, and all that other old shit. Yeah I'm a old man. Thirty five years old and counting..................lol
SP 7M 05-29-2006, 07:07 PM Sorry for the late reply, Suprahero. I hardly visit here anymore because this place is so deserted these days.
I really appreciate the thought and everything is going quite well for me. I've met a very nice young lady that has truly impressed me, so hopefully things will work out for us the way that we'd like them to. She already likes a lot of great music and is becoming more and more of a Supra fan. Hopefully I can get her to like them enough to buy one some day!
Thanks for the comment on my car. You know, man, I've got so much money to spend on it to get it in satisfactory condition that it's not even funny. HI has been complete hell on it and I'd really like to have the complete engine bay gutted before I get it painted (black, hopefully by early '07) so that I can have all the little spots of rust removed, and of course, so it'll match the outide of the car. Also, a bunch of the components under the hood, especially the valve covers aren't too pretty-looking from the elements out here. Oh well, it's a never-ending process which hopefully pays off. :)
I'm a G-n-F'n-Rs fan and I like a little bit of Motley Crue from their early days, but Linkin Park was a high school thing for me. That's cool, though, my taste in music is far deeper and heavier than most of the people that I know. To each his/her own!
Take it easy, man.
dizahl 05-29-2006, 07:18 PM i'm still the supramacist.

dizahl 05-29-2006, 07:18 PM whats up craig it's been awhile
SP 7M 05-29-2006, 07:31 PM Ah, I'm still just trying to deal with Hawaii, man. I'm kind of in a frustrating situation out here in the middle of nowhere, but it'll end soon.
I can't get my Supra and myself back to CA soon enough. I've just got to get off my ass and get my resume together so that I can get my name out to any potential employers. Luckily, I know a Piper flight instructor in La Verne (southern LA-ish) that is quite knowledgeable about what I'm trying to get into. He'll be a big help for me with his willingness to network for me. I'm intimidated and excited about the whole thing at the same time, ya know?
dizahl 05-29-2006, 07:34 PM sounds good man i know how much you like cali. plus there's more women!!
SP 7M 05-29-2006, 09:40 PM Women are no longer and issue. And I don't mean I'm gay. ;)
supramacist 05-30-2006, 01:50 AM why...., r we here again?
SP 7M 05-30-2006, 10:17 PM What are you asking? Why are we talking about women?
supramacist 05-30-2006, 11:02 PM I wasn't talking about anything other than my car.
chill out, man.
suprahero 05-31-2006, 06:22 AM Glad everything is going good for you Craig. Hope you and your car make it back to Cali safely. Glad to see you've moved on and found another friend.
I've never been to Hawaii and will probably never go, but I wouldn't have thought it would be so bad. I guess it's like that saying goes " It's a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there" Can't wait to see your car after you get it painted and upgraded the way you want, and I too love black cars. I used to have a black '83 supra............lol, Good luck in the future.
dizahl 05-31-2006, 09:19 PM shelly wants your gs 300 craig. she loves those cars.
SP 7M 06-02-2006, 12:18 AM Diz-You don't want my GS. It's in serious need of a paint job, needs a new driver's seat (broken electrical motor), needs new front window seals and needs a lot of attention to be paid to it around the entire body. I'm actually very embarassed that I even bought the damn thing in the first place. If I wasn't stupid enough to look at the car at night when I decided to buy it and was patient enough to wait until when the sun would highlight all that it does, I'd be in a much better situation. Oh well, no car is a guarantee, especially a used car.
I've already put $2,000 into it in the last year and I'll be getting a bad lower left ball joint fixed next week, and that'll probably run me close to $800. After that I'll be getting the windows re-tinted and look into getting the window seals fixed. This is all in an attempt to get more money out of it when I try to sell it before I leave HI.
She's obviously got good taste, though. I used to think this generation of GS was quite bland looking but I really got turned on to the body style while I was in Japan when I saw all the Aristos there. A set of Do Luck rims and a lower stance really would go a looooong way for it. Well, not mine, but that car in general.
supramacist 06-02-2006, 06:36 PM shit her a gs300 you ritch ditch. I say ditch because I think that's what I'm going to name you diz. ha. As for selling it in HI..., someone will buy it if you fix it to run. Soldiers are always doing that. There's always a few cars and a bike or two for sale around military bases. God damn man......., Seal Beach, Orange county, Garden Grove even. California is shangrimother****ingla. :smoking:
supramacist 06-02-2006, 06:41 PM :slice: I can't believe you called me a sheep f ucker
SP 7M 06-02-2006, 11:52 PM My GS runs just fine. It no longer has any leaks and the things that bother me-aside from the ball joint-are all just aesthetic. Once I get that (ball joint) fixed, it'll be a very solid car and that's what will be my selling point when I try to get rid of it. I really hope that I can get close to $6K out of it. It'd be nice to get a little cash back from what I owe on it.
supramacist 06-03-2006, 10:31 PM damn I was thinking 3.5 / 4k. I thought you hated it and wanted to get rid of it. They won't ship 2 cars for you when you go home???? My bro brought a bike and a car. I really get the sense that you just tolerate me and leave me be, almost as if I just bug the shit out of you sp. :) :eusa_doh:
SP 7M 06-04-2006, 12:48 AM damn I was thinking 3.5 / 4k. I thought you hated it and wanted to get rid of it. They won't ship 2 cars for you when you go home???? My bro brought a bike and a car. I really get the sense that you just tolerate me and leave me be, almost as if I just bug the shit out of you sp. :) :eusa_doh:HAHAHA! You don't bug me at all! I don't know why you'd get that idea. LOL!
So what are you talking about costing 3.5-4K?
It is true that I can only ship one car for free. Can you believe that even if you're married and have two cars that the military will still only ship one for free?
You can ship motorcycles as part of your "household goods." I hear of people doing that all the time. The oil and fuel has to be drained if you want to go that route.
If I'm repeating myself, then I apologize, but I want to get a nice 90-95 Toyota 4x4 Extracab SR5 V6 pickup right after I get back to CA.
supramacist 06-04-2006, 10:29 AM nice trucks, go stick and now that you mention it my bro did have his bike shipped as household goods, we spoke about it a few weeks ago.
dizahl 06-05-2006, 10:09 PM HAHAHA! You don't bug me at all! I don't know why you'd get that idea. LOL!
